I dedicated the week to wrapping up most of the pending and pressing client tasks. I have hit the pedal and it’s been flowing smoothly.
With the house landlord pressure fairly off my back and the office landlord’s knees off my neck, I got to breathe … for a day… before the next pressure settled in.
I had enjoyed ample me time however, and by Sunday afternoon, I would check out of the resort.
It’s been a 3 day, and 2 nights of solitude, occasional swims, dip in the ocean, a chill in the 2nd floor balcony, sessional reflections over coffee and WABR Soya Kebabs and fries.
From the deposit bagged, I split it towards office rent and other recurrent bills this morning and we were more or less back to zero.
I did receive amazing birthday messages from special people. One message interestingly prompted the question of whether, figuratively, I was a Lion or a wolf.
Then came the text from brother, Uncle Sam had passed on. It felt cold. I inquired about the circumstances around the demise. Shocking!
Come Monday. I had refreshed enough and was set for the week.
This week on our priority list was the voi4iov foundation breast cancer awareness forum. The voi4iov foundation was just but a CSR wing of the brand voi2day.com.
The end of another week, with modest achievements. I am still quite off on a couple of goals, however for some, I am at the homestretch.
Hit by the news of the demise of Max the DJ. He was once a neighbor, was a friend and was indeed a promising star who left us too soon. Or so, it seemed.
As a team leader, am tasked to spearhead, steer and cultivate a company culture that can hopefully transcend generations. It’s on my priority list not just for a day but ought to be every day. It’s up to me to equally make clear the company vision to my colleagues and also regarding the direction and all the tenet enablers in the process.
A tough call indeed, for any entrepreneur.
