Interview with Sticks N' Stones Sticks N' Stones are a Rock Band based in Toronto, Canada. They released their first EP "Rev' It Up" back in January. The brothers Nick and Rob Lisanti (Singer/guitarist and drummer of the band) took the time to talk to us about the EP, working with Jon Harvey (Monstertruck) and Leon Harrison (The Lazys) of Bandwagon last year, and going home from an Alice Cooper concert with a Canadian flag, signed by the man himself.
Brijitte West is the acclaimed front-woman for the 1990’s band NY Loose (“Year Of The Rat” on Hollywood Records). NY Loose is most known for their classic song, “Spit,” which also appeared on the platinum-selling “The Crow City Of Angels” soundtrack in 1996. She’s also had a number of popular solo releases.
Brijitte wanted to give something special to her fans and friends during the lockdown. “LOCKDOWN” contains two new songs “Can You Talk” and “Let’s Build a Fire,” as well as four acoustic songs that were performed on social media during the pandemic to connect with fans and friends.
During the interview, Brijitte told us about her experiences during the lockdown, the inspiration behind her new songs, and much more!
Jack Meille has been the lead singer of Tygers of Pan Tang since 2004 and has joined the Sainted Sinners in 2020. Both bands released new albums this year - Tygers of Pan Tang released a best of album of the last 16 years called "Majors & Minors" in May and the Sainted Sinners released "Taste It" in November. Jack took the time to talk to us about both albums, how he joined the bands, winning the NWoBHM-Award, whisked, the essence of Rock'n'Roll, and so much more.. Listen to the interview and find out!

Kevin Jones sings straight from the heart. Kevin has recorded 11 Albums to date. and His vocals speak to many. Once strongly considered as Rob Halford's replacement in Judas Priest. Kevin Jones beat over 1,000 singers in the early 90’s to make the short list of the final six singers to be the new singer for J P – He also has been considered by many more of the greatest rock bands in the world.
Kevin is also a Multi Talented Musician - a guitarist as well as multiple instruments, he is a legendary singer and performer in the Los Angeles and Orange County music scene and has been for years, fronting acts such as Stepchild , Illusion , W.A.D. , Rattleface , Taka Minamino and Striker. As a songwriter Kevin Jones has written more than 200 songs in his career .He is a talented, prolific writer that offers up music and lyrics that are unmatched in today's rock world as he really delivers a message and something to say about the beauty, the pain and sorrows of the world !!!!
Kevin is a well known guitarist and won the first round of Guitar Centers Kinf of the Blues competition a few years ago at the Lake Forest, Ca Guitar Center.
In his early career Fox polished his skills and performance abilities in the Pacific Northwest among many of the musical elite of Seattle. As a driving force of such successful club and touring acts as Ictus, Metro and Radio City, during the 80’s and 90’s he played every venue and recorded tracks in every studio in Seattle while working in multiple original and touring projects simultaneously. This led to his being asked to join Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members from Heart, guitarist Roger Fisher and drummer Michael DeRosier, in the noted original Seattle band “10 Bulls”. He then joined with Queensryches fem-fatale Pamela Moore to form “Sister Mary”, produced and occasionally joined on stage by Hearts’ own guitarist Howard Leese.
Throughout Fox’s professional career he has performed for hundreds of thousands of fans in major venues across the country and has has recorded and performed with many well known artists from acts such as Heart, Asia, Bad Company, Jefferson Starship, Billy Idol, Slash, Blues Traveler, Queensryche, Quiet Riot, The Cult, Alice Cooper, Toto, Yes, Pantera, ACDC, Michael Schenker Group, AGT Winner Michael Grimm, Iron Maiden, Vanilla Fudge, Ozzy Osbourne and BB King.
Gregg has just launched a new epic project, ” The Renaissance Rock Orchestra.” RRO is a powerful classical prog rock ensemble centered around his keyboard prowess and progressive writing skills. In this orchestra, Foxs’ powerful keyboards are surrounded by strings and supported by heavy rock guitars and drums.
Currently as the keyboardist for “Louis Prima Jr. and The Witnesses”, “The Renaissance Rock Orchestra” and “The Moby Dicks” keyboardist Gregg Fox continues to amaze audiences with his wild energetic stage presence and his exciting blend of classical keyboard skills combined with many years of powerful rock experience.
Gregg talked with us about his career, how Renaissance Rock Orchestra started, and what he has planned for the band now.
Lord und Schlumpfi wollen nach Wacken. Das wissen wir inzwischen alle. Schließlich haben tausende von Menschen die Webserie "Lord & Schlumpfi - Der lange Weg nach Wacken" seit Veröffentlichung der ersten Episode 2016 mitverfolgt. Oder gleich beide existierenden Staffel beim Filmfest in München oder im Herbst 2020 im Kino gesehen. Aber wer hat sich den Spaß eigentlich ausgedacht? Tobias Öller wars. Und die Rolle des Lords spielt er zudem auch noch. Und er war so nett uns einen Einblick hinter die Kulissen von Lord und Schlumpfi zu geben. Wie produziert man eigentlich einen hochwertigen Film - komplett ohne Budget? Wie läuft so ein Drehtag ab und wie viele Minuten Film kann man an einem Tag produzieren? Und wie geht es denn jetzt eigentlich weiter mit Lord und Schlumpfi? Alle Fragen werden im Interview beantwortet!
rming in 2017, S.O.R.M are a hard rock/heavy metal act from Lidkoping, Sweden. Shortly after the bands inception S.O.R.M released the outstanding “Hellraiser EP” and introduced the band to the world with the hook laden lead single and video clip “Gypsy Queen“. Confirming its place as an act capable of appealing to a wide heavy music audience through the bands merging of contemporary and traditional hard rock and heavy metal, S.O.R.M offered an appeal to fans of acts such as Grand Magus, GHOST and Night Flight Orchestra through to the icons of the genre, WASP and Judas Priest.
In 2018 S.O.R.M gained the attention of leading international US heavy music agency Extreme Management Group, leading to joining a roster that features high profile acts such as Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation and Misery Index. Shortly after joining EMG the band released a stand alone single for the outstanding “Demon Child” which was accompanied by a visually striking and dark video clip exclusively premiered on Metal Injection.
In 2020 the band with the members Micke Holm (Guitar and Vocals), Johan Östman (Bass) and Robin Wernebratt (Drums) signed with the newly established label Noble Demon and joining acts such as Night Crowned, Dawn Of Solace, No Raza and Gomorra.
Troy Patrick Farrell is well known as an extraordinary drummer, playing in several great bands, such as White Lion, the Gilby Clarke Band, Cheap Thrill and The Lost Angels.
Troy took the time to talk to us about everything from the start of his career in music and plans for a release by the Lost Angels to motorcycles and Spinal Tap-moments on tour. Watch the interview to find out what happened when Eric Dover tried to buy cigarettes in India.

John Fiddler is best known as a member of the band Medicine Head that became successful in the early 70s with songs such as "One And One Is One", "Rising Sun" and "(And The) Pictures In The Sky". John's newest single "Warriors Of Love" is available on all streaming services as well as a physical copy on his website.

Don is back! The drummer of the legendary band Slade has agreed to come on the show a second time. Irgendwie hat Mathias Kellner, der Straubinger Dude mit der Gitarre, der musizierende Schauspieler, der „großartige Entertainer“ (MZ) zwischen seinen früher auf englisch und später auf bairisch gesungenen Songs schon immer unglaubliche Geschichten auf der Bühne erzählt. Nix Großes, keine langatmigen Epen, eher so unaufgeregt ungefähres, mitten aus dem Leben im bayerischen Hinterland treffsicher Gefischtes: herrlich skurril, manches kaum zu glauben. Auf der Bühne präsentiert Kellner ein urig-witziges, kurzatmiges Gesamtkunstwerk aus Worten und Akkorden.
Mathias hat sich Zeit genommen und auch uns ein paar dieser Geschichten erzählt. Zum Beispiel wie er Musiker wurde, der Unterschied zwischen englischen und bairischen Songs - und wie er mal an einer Tankstelle spielen musste, um Benzingeld zu verdienen und zu seinem Auftritt fahren zu können.

Ob in Deutschland, Europa oder den Vereinigten Staaten - Bonfire sind und bleiben Rock-Giganten. Ohne ihren Einfluss auf die Melodic-Rockszene würde ein wichtiges Kapitel der internationalen Rockmusikgeschichte ungeschrieben bleiben.
Im Februar wurde das neue Album "Roots veröffentlicht" - ein "almost unplugged" Album, das durch ein Crowdfunding ermöglicht wurde und auf Platz eins der Amazon Album Charts zu finden ist.
Der Bandgründer Hans Ziller und der Gitarrist Frank Pané haben sich mit uns über das Album unterhalten und uns dabei den dazugehörigen Wettbewerb erklärt, wie es zu dem Album kam und sogar weshalb es beim Crowdfunding selbstgemachten Eierlikör zu erwerben gab.

Elizabeth Lee enters the stage like thunder and lightning, enchanting the hearts and souls of the lot. Her voice is soaked in pure southern rock and blues…dusted and groovy like the hot Texas desert. Graciously embracing the prestigious South by Southwest Music Festival & Austin Music Award’s category for »Best Female Vocals«.
Born in Pasadena, Texas, she began her musical journey at the age of 10. singing in the church choir. Her career, which spanned from Los Angeles to New York to Europe, where she worked as a model, founded her first band, and appeared in videos of Depeche Mode (Policy of Truth), RunDMC, John Scofield, Kid n’ Play, Placido Domingo and many more. Her musical career is stunning. She opened stages for Buddy Guy as well as Jeff Beck and speaks often of one of her most moving and inspiring moments.
In 2017 Elizabeth founded the highly acclaimed acoustic project with Martin Hauke, the guitar player of Europe's best Rolling Stones tribute band Voodoo Lounge. His guitar style is so dusty-dry and uncompromising that most think he’s from somewhere in Texas and not the North German Plain. It seems like the two musicians from two very different continents have searched and found each other, creating their “WANTED” musical posse.
The duo have taken some time to talk to us this week, and the topics spanned from musical influences and our favourite members of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles to songwriting and meeting Tom Petty after auditioning for Joe Cocker.

Andy Susemihl hat die Bühnen mit Rock-Ikonen wie Ozzy Osbourne, Guns N’ Roses, Deep Purple und Lita Ford geteilt, über 20 Alben produziert und eingespielt und über 500.000 Tonträger verkauft. Seine Songs und seine Gitarrenarbeit sind auf CDs neben renommierten Gitarristen wie Steve Vai, Joe Satriani und Steve Stevens zu finden.
In Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen, kam Andy Susemihl zum ersten Mal im Alter von 14 Jahren mit der Gitarre in Berührung. Nachdem er sich in der heimischen Szene einen sehr guten Namen erspielt hatte, erlangte er überregionalen Bekanntheitsgrad als Gitarrist von Bands wie Sinner und U.D.O. dem Projekt des Accept-Sängers Udo Dirkschneider.
Seit einigen Jahren pendelt er zwischen L.A. und Deutschland und betreibt neben all diesen Aktivitäten das Projekt Andy Susemihl & Superfriends von dem am 22. Januar2021das siebte Studio Album „Alienation“ u.a. mit Peter Baltes am Bass und Francesco Jovino sowie Andre Labelle an den Drums veröffentlicht wird.

Ryan Roxie is best known as the guitarist for legendary Alice Cooper, as well as bands such as Slash's Snakepit, Casablanca and Dad's Porno Mag. But besides rocking the stage in front of thousands of people all over the world, Ryan is also hosting his own podcast called In The Trenches With Ryan Roxie and creating his own guitar lessons called The System 12 Guitar Method.

The experimental spirit and rocking subculture of the 60s live on in Jeff Mezzrow's music. Whether through blues and soul-soaked groove music or rock - guitarist / singer Jeff Mezzrow offers a truly lively performance that sweeps the audience away. After his youth in the Southside of Chicago, Mezzrow left his hometown in 1972 and has been on the road with his music in the United States and Europe ever since. In 2004 he settled in Berlin to perform with the Blue Man Group. There he teamed up with drummer Benedikt Stehle (Alexander Knappe, Fanfare Ciocarlia) and bassist Leon Schurz (Samy Deluxe, Fetsum) and found in them a rhythm section that creates the kind of groove that makes everything feel right.
The band's latest album "Pawning The Plant" was released in 2020, and is available on CD.
Jeff took the time to talk with us about the album, living in Germany, Albert King playing at his high school graduation, and much more! He even took out a guitar and played the album's title song.

British born guitarist, Robby Miller grew up energized by North American rock music. After spending many years keeping his nose close to the grindstone, starting with performing with his father's band and then weaving in and out of many teenage punk rock outfits, Robby created a name for himself as a hard working and passionate musician on the local scene.
Robby continued full force with music and joined The Scruff (2014-2017) taking up lead guitar duties on their indie-pop anthems up and down the country as well as writing and recording at Monnow Valley Studios, famed for the Oasis 'Definitely Maybe' album.
Robby spent 2 years living in the US (2017-2019) where he joined up with Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper) on two US tours and European shows performing Ryan's impressive back catalogue and new releases from his 'Imagine Your Reality' album. During this time Robby also took the reins on bass guitar performing alongside Joel Kosche (Collective Soul). 2020 saw Robby release his debut self titled EP. The EP is available on all streaming platforms and CD.
