Q. Why is racism injustice inequality still an issue in today’s America? Hate running rampant in her streets?
Myth: Because white America is afraid.
Fact: White fright is petrified of the black man woman child who comes into knowledge of the truth. Knowledge of their rights. Understands that knowledge is more powerful than anything on this earth. Because it cannot be silenced nor subdued without consequence.
Remembering the Trail Blazers of civil rights. Pioneers of knowing our rights. Matriarchs of understanding we must be lights in the darkness. Patriarchs of family staying together as fundamental to black unity. Rejecting lesser than with cast down eyes. Marching onward. Ever upward. Always looking up. Our eyes fixed upon skies without limits.
White fright has caused an American instability imbalance that needs righted. Yet bearing responsibility for what ails U.S. requires a commitment courage perseverance which seems to come with too high a price tag for some. Yet inaction is not an option if Democracy is to continue strong. American democracy a great light which shines a path that others outside our borders wish to walk. White America MUST cash in fear denial apathy. Acknowledge our truth. That ALL men are indeed created equal. That black Americans share inalienable rights right alongside them. That unless we lay down our hatred and lift each other we as a People, will ALL share same fate. Fallen, fallen is Babylon the Great.
In memory of Sandra Bland #SayHerName who in life encouraged racial justice equality unity. As she rests in power still influences same. Despite charges against the arresting officer being dropped. Resulting in no accountability criminal prosecution being brought against any one in the arrest assault and battery violation of rights and wrongful death of Sandra Bland. In spite of the de escalation training of police requirement being dropped from the legislation ultimately passed as the Sandra Bland Act. Her legacy lives on.

Miss me? My soapbox rantics pontificated via podcast? It’s cool if you don’t or asking, who? Cuz you thought you were clicking on a link to a news story giggles. Please stay safe. Inasmuch as within us lies in our control prevention wise. Well, for my listeners I teased when we wrapped Season 1 to keep eyes on #ALT2 social site. Wanna share some thoughts for MLK weekend. I am an Independent Progressive depending on the issue. So I am speaking from that passion point. Let me set it up though. Picture this. Big ass hill riddled with all kinds of weapons fire arms ammunitions and bullets. The hill top littered with blank voting ballots scattered and blown about by sharp frigid blasts of screeching wind. Atop the hill stands a group of men and women. Blindfolded. Some faces still familiar even slightly obscured, covered by their makeshift masks. They’re huddled together facing out in a circle of resolve it seems. Not one head is bowed in contrition or submission. Down below a mob rages incoherent. Marching roughshod a militia in guerrilla gang garb pummels over an out of control mob and their incoherent shouts curses venom spewing. A scene roaring it’s way toward base of the hill with weapons pointed upwards at them upon the hill. Democrats have played a not so great hand way wrong. President Biden set to address the media US on Wednesday. One year into his Administration having little to show in answer Independent Progressives now question, “What’s happening here!” Too little too late? For voting rights act? Gun violence? Why now, police reform? Police reform should be part and parcel in with both protections of the vote snd systematic murder of unarmed black and brown folk. Lose deceiving mentality only battles worth waging are those that can be won. The hill for Democrats and President Biden to die on straight away in 2021 should have been voting rights gun control legislation. The good fight. Win or lose. Infrastructure being rifled by GOP the to do now unmasking fully their unwillingness to get shit done if it’s being initiated by flip side of same coin? What’s happening here? What will I do with polluted power of my vote midterms and beyond? It’s voice diluted by mixed messaging reeked in anarchy and disappointment decorated by strife? Dems and President Biden, democracy of the People, for the People and by the People. Are you listening? Up there on that hill. Blind to clear and present threat encroaching. What will or can you do to protect us now? Having, seemingly, done all to stand. Stand therefore. Chat again soon.

I've tooted two orgs dedicated to giving as sacrament of sacrifice every day of the year. We're welcoming men women and children from Afghanistan into our communities. What are their first impressions? What, ultimately, will be their American experience on their individual paths to citizenship? Operation Recovery still labors tirelessly to assist those left behind. Even as the Taliban regime solidify post exit of America's troops.
On the home front Heart of the Hamptons could very well be a welcoming presence for new Afghan settlers and other families…individuals like yours and mine who continue chiseling their way to recovery from pandemic. Relief orgs like Heart of the Hamptons have been good Samaritans serving even before COVID-19. Supported largely by members of community. Think of these and consider gifting to give many relief comfort and blessings most of us take for granted.

An audio recording made on November 18, 1978, at the Peoples Temple compound in Jonestown, Guyana immediately preceding and during the mass suicide and murder of over 900 members of the cult.
Original Notes:
I acquired the source cassette tape from a schoolmate c. 1979 whose father was an FBI agent. The sound levels were increased as close as possible to clipping when I mastered to CD-R from cassette and then normalized to -18dB average RMS power (loudness) in Sound Forge. An interesting website for further research is the Jonestown Institute which contains transcripts as well as commentary on this and other recordings recovered by the FBI from Jonestown after the mass suicide and murders.

David Koresh (born Vernon Wayne Howell; August 17, 1959 – April 19, 1993) was the American leader of the Branch Davidians sect, believing himself to be its final prophet.
Koresh came from a dysfunctional familbackground and was a member, and later a leader, of the Shepherd's Rod, a reform movement led by Victor Houteff that arose from within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Koresh joined a spiritual group that was based at the Mount Carmel Center outside Waco, Texas, where the group took the name "Branch Davidians". Here he competed for dominance with another leader named George Roden, until Roden was jailed for murdering another rival The serving of arrest and search warrants by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) as part of an investigation into illegal possession of firearms and explosives provoked the historic 1993 raid on the center. Four ATF agents and six Davidians were killed during the initial two-hour firefight, both sides claiming the other side fired first. The subsequent siege by the FBI of almost two months ended when the center was set on fire — Koresh and 79 others were found dead after the conflagration.

Alas! Congress gets major legislation DONE. I was on an insider’s call and was privileged to a best look at what’s included in both parts. T when it comes to infrastructure there are two pieces representing hammer n nails as well as social programs robust boost, don’t you know. If you are a family with children you are winning big time. If you are a small business you’ve been winning and that will continue moderately. What about us single households with just a dog or aquarium or feline friendly dependent? … Maybe we are the tarp holders for lil while longer? At least until build back better comes more into view by way of outcomes these DONES will yield. Balance, right? Everyone can’t be winning all at the same time. And since billionaires have largely escaped targeted tax increases to help ease the tension on the line overall that burden has to be spread elsewhere somewheres, right? Infrastructure Bill passage/signage is tremendous by all accounts. There is much left undone, though. Voting Rights Act. Gun Control Law Reform in Direct Response to Continued Deadly Gun Violence. Climate Change (which is generously addressed in infrastructure bill) but we need to be more aggressive on these issues which determines if there will be a future for which to build back better. After disappointing Nov 2 2021 election results in some key races how do we move forward, together? Perhaps we do need to look back a bit to review mistakes missteps misrules so as not to repeat history over and over and over again. You’re gonna wanna listen. Summer 2021 is ova. We now turn to fall prequel what holidays will be like. Script hadn’t flipped calendar to September yet before retailers running pumpkin everything ads! For millions of Americans unemployment benefits have ended. Kind of cruel irony to have that happen on Labor Day, isn’t it? What was the passive aggressive note of sarcasm there? Within numbers of same families and individuals are those legitimately behind on rents and mortgage. State level aid called rent relief still just trickles down to those able to sufficiently prove hardship. Millions fast funneled to localities from American Rescue Plan’s big fed pot yet fully steeped into spending stew as mayor city planners County executives mull over just how much should go where. In Albany NY, for example, and as is customary another lesser circulated survey which fiends everyone’s input. Citizens everywhere beware these same opportunists voted to represent our interests are facing regional budget deficit holes. It would be an easy plug to just slide unused funds to cook those budget books just before election season. Makes for some good campaign ad time how these were able to balance in midst of fighting a pandemic. Meanwhile, you and me? Folks like we hobble toward something called recovery. Storms fires gun violence crime. Delta dealing but now there’s mu we’re not supposed to be concerned about yet it is said to be more transmissible than Delta and possibly resistant to current vaccines. Only one of which is fully licensed by the FDA. Moderna’s licensure will be later than anticipated due to full licensure target by Sep 20 paperwork submit missed deadline. What <
