Talking privately with 4 different people (friends, family and co-workers, women and men) in two consecutive days, I've realized that everyone wanted something, but they all have an excuse readily available that is preventing them from getting what they want.

Flavian was set to become a priest in Romania, but ended up becoming a psychiatrist in the UK.
We had an amazing chat about the difference between psychology and psychiatry, we talked about hobbies that turn into addictions that morph into obsessions (or the other way around, not so sure now...). Jim Marshall retired into a life full of hobbies with a goal of enjoying his retirement to its fullest.
We talked about cycling, motorbikes, board games and how to organize and run a community board game club. We also had a chat about the differences between private and public schools and tried to understand how attending one or the other can influence one's perspectives and change their future.
No guest this week, only me, telling you a beautiful story about a fire, community and hope. I hope you like it and you will be more hopeful about the future and about our human race.
Nikki is a wonderful human being with so many stories and insights. He is a math teacher, but that's not what defines him. He played in rock bands, he was sound engineer at some point in time, he played professional tennis in his teens, he is building guitars and virtual spaces and so much more.
We could have gone for hours on end and I don't think we would have run out of things to talk about.
This was one of the most organic chat I've had so far on this podcast. Highly recommended!

After graduation she used her skills and continue to be involved in social and entertainment events, ending up as a events and congress lead in the pharmaceutical industry.
Her passion in life is bringing people together, so we had an in depth chat about community, organizing people and how to make time to live better lives surrounded by likeminded people.
Currently she lives in the Netherlands with her partner and their dog.
Andrew Bosley is an illustrator, concept artist and board game enthusiast. He painted for the video game industry, as a concept artist for Ubisoft, working on games like Ghost Reckon, Assassins Creed and others, then he transitioned to board game industry where he really found his passion, creating some magnificent work for games like Everdell, Tapestry and Mechants of the Dark Road among others.

A short episode in which I talk about a few things I have learned doing the first episode of my podcast. It seems that talking and recording is the easy part of a podcast. Editing the recording it's a little bit more time consuming. The first episode was recorded in 27 minute, but the editing bit took me over 4 hours. Live and learn.
