Florida parent Shawn Hayston says he just wanted to tour the public middle school his son is expected to attend next year.

She is committed to being an agent of change for the Hillsborough County School Board through collaboration, transparency, and sound financial practices, and seeks to establish an educational landscape that gives all constituents a voice, protects vulnerable students, prepares scholars for life after school, and ultimately ensures that all students are put first. Aly is a loving wife to her husband Matthew and devoted mother of five children, ages 4 to 14, one of which has special needs. She is a Positive Patriotic mom that wants to make a difference and that’s why we wanted to have her on the show. We talk about many of the problems and solutions in the school and how she plans to fix them.
