Spiritual maturity is not a matter of age or time, its a matter of equipping and intentional application of God's Word.
In the final week of our Rubberband series, we look at what it means to grow and move forward spiritually, and how we truly measure it.
As we stretch our way through the Rubberband series, we take week 3 to look at how God has a plan in place for us to grow spiritually, and that it all depends on him.
You what's great about rubber bands? They stretch. In this four week series we take a look at the discipline of spiritual growth and letting God stretch our faith. In part 1, we take a look at spiritual maturity and taking responsibility for our own spiritual growth.
As we welcome 2023, we begin with a focus on prayer. We will walk through Paul’s hopeful and encouraging prayer for the church in Colossae. Paul prays that the Colossian believers will be filled with God’s knowledge and put it into practice.
In week 4 of After Effects, we take a look at how as a result of Christ-centered values and spiritual practices in the early church, two powerful results came about. The early church gained tremendous influence in their local community and those around them as well as seeing a divine increase in the Kingdom of God as they impacted the world around them. In Life After Easter, we can experience the same by modeling the values and spiritual disciplines of the early church.
In week 2 of After Effects, we look at how Jesus changed everything when it came to how we relate to God. Before Easter, the law was an impossible burden for mankind to carry, but in Jesus finished work on the cross, we can find true rest, righteousness and reconciliation with the Father.
In this Easter Sunday message we look at how hope, encouragement, and redemption, came to ordinary people like us and about how God wants to empty our lives so He can refill them with His promises, His love and hope.
The Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem was marked by electric crowds and cries of "Hosanna", but quickly they turned to shouts of "Crucify him". But before the masses could turn on him, Jesus was betrayed by two of his inner circle. Judas and Peter both failed Jesus, but what we learn from them is that our shortcomings can be beginnings or endings, depending on our response. Pastor Paul guides us through the failing of Judas and Peter and help us to see that Jesus knows we will let him down sometimes, but he still brings us with him.
This three-week series examines Psalm 23. In a world filled with ever-changing and increasingly troubling headlines, the hope of God’s comfort and sustaining care is a balm for weary souls. We can rest in the gentle care of their Good Shepherd, the one who walks with them and provides for them—mind, body, and soul—in the present and in the days to come. In the concluding message, Pastor Paul shares how the shepherd walks with his sheep through hardship and into a hope-filled future. We all deal with grief, fear and loneliness. But no matter what valley you're walking through, you don’t have to walk alone, Jesus walks with you when you follow him. The Lord is with the believer always, in the good and the bad. He is the sustainer of our present and future hope.
