In todays challenging employment market, sustainability is rising to the top of the agenda, not only for potential candidates, but for existing employees and businesses looking to recruit. It is often said that people are a businesses greatest asset, but how important are sustainable credentials in recruiting and retaining the right people? And what are businesses doing to address this? With the growing shift towards a conscious capitalism mindset, how is this impacting recruitment?

Les Amis are a local charity, who provide quality services to support people with learning disabilities and/or associated conditions gain equal opportunities in our island. They are pioneering in the face of both global and local challenges, and developing social enterprises that benefit the community as a whole. With sustainability at their core, both via the overall purpose, but also in day to day practice, their approach is a great example of how answers to environmental and social issues can be intertwined in a mutually beneficial way.
