At some point or another, we all dream about starting a side business - being our own boss, building something we're passionate about, getting out of the corporate rat race. Well, that is exactly what Fiona did. Multiple times! In this episode, I chat to Fiona, the queen of side hustles, and her journey across various ventures in social media, fluid art, building communities, agency and more. It's really incredible and inspiring to hear about her adventure and lessons, so this is one you don't want to miss. 🌻 If you enjoyed this episode or have feedback for me, please let me know at: heylinni@gmail.com For business or collaboration enquiries, reach out at: heylinni@gmail.com DM or follow me on my socials @heylini on Instagram @heylinni on TikTok @heylinni on YouTube 🌻 The Bliss Bakery is a conversation between friends on the big topics in life, as we reflect on experiences in love, friendships, work, health and more! Gear up for a cracker of an episode. Remember how I talked to Jenny a little while back about Ego is the Enemy? She was planning to go on a 1 year sabbatical at the time. Well I caught up with Jenny again AFTER her sabbatical and we talked about what she’s been up to, as well as how you might plan your own sabbatical, things to think about and her biggest learnings from the experience.

As we shift into our late twenties (eek), skincare and beauty is something I've been taking more time to understand. What I quickly realised was that it wasn't so simple as cleanser, moisturiser and that's it. There's a whole world of different skincare products out there (11 step skincare routines!!) and I quickly got lost in it all. What's serum for? Do I need exfoliator? How often do I apply all these products? Is there such thing as too many products??
In today's episode, I pulled my ultimate skincare friend Lucy, in to talk me through this world and demystify some of my questions. Lucy has a ton of experience in this space, being on the skincare specialising team at Mecca Beauty and she shares her thoughts as well as some personal experiences of working at Mecca!

AND WE'RE BACK! Welcome to Season 3 of The Bliss Bakery. I know it's been a while and I'm going to be releasing episodes every FORTNIGHT, instead of weekly now, given an extra busy schedule at the moment since I started a new job.
This episode was recorded with Tash a little while back, where we discussed the state of the tech industry following the golden years during covid. Since the boom, there's been a big drop, layoffs, stricter cultures and we talk about adjusting to the crazy times ahead in our tech roles. Enjoy!

Last episode of Season 2 of The Bliss Bakery! This one is super special and vulnerable as my good friend Lucy shares about her experience in losing a loved one and how she dealt with the aftermath to recover from the grief. I think this is so close to all our hearts because it is a fundamental life experience that is going to happen to everyone at some point. This shared experience is one we hardly talk about, yet understanding the feelings from someone who has faced it at an early age is very insightful and may help us manage our thoughts and get through it, when the time comes. Thanks everyone for listening & supporting TBB this season. Stay tuned for Season 3!

Hooray, it's a Lucas episode! If you recall, Lucas is my boyfriend of almost 8 years and in the past year, he's had a new job where he's travelling...a LOT. Like, almost every alternate week. This has changed the dynamic of our relationship and created new norms to get used to. It's pushed us both out of our comfort zones, as he tries to adjust to a constant travel mode and I adjust to being more independent at home. In this episode, he shares more on what he actually does while travelling, our highlights and lowlights of our travel adventures while on the job and we discuss it's impact on our relationship.

There are so many interesting facets about being part of diverse, minority groups - asian, young female in male-dominated industries like tech or in my guest Amy's case: the wine industry. I was super excited to have Amy join me in a conversation dissecting how our unconscious bias may affect how we behave in our careers, as females in leadership positions, despite still being early in our careers. We talk about the fascinating dynamics of working in a family business, gender norms, golf and social media. If you're curious about Amy, find more of her on Instagram: @amzguo_

The last few episodes have been a bit heavy, so I've invited Rachel to join me today in a light and hilarious episode as we recap on our super fun time going to Seoul, Korea last year together! We travelled as just the two of us and managed to not get into any fights for 2.5 weeks, so we've got some good tips in this episode for that. But also, we just talk about the best places we went, travel recommendations and memorable moments. Settle in for an hour of feel-good with this one.

Tough times never last, only tough people do...brugbeiufiwbe. We all go through some tough times in our lives and overcoming adversity is just something everyone needs to experience to grow. But rather than being resilient, its even more powerful to be antifragile - a concept where as stress is applied, we become stronger from it. In this episode, I chat with Davo, a long-time friend from uni about our experiences going through hardship and overcoming it, and our newfound perspectives now - looking back and realising we could get past it all! If you're going through a tough time at the moment, please take some time to unwind and listen to this episode. This year I turned 26 and I feel like I can no longer say I'm in my early twenties era anymore. I'm closer to 30 than I am 20 and that's just a little bit scary. Time somehow feels faster than ever and each birthday comes along quicker than the year before. With this comes the uneasy feeling of a quarter life crisis and plenty of existential questions like, "what am I doing with my life?", "what is my purpose?" and "am I truly happy?". I'm joined this episode by Vicky and Elian who are experiencing their quarter life crises at the same time as me, so we kind of talk through that and spiral together. I hope if you're going through a quarter life crisis at the moment (or any kind of life crisis) you can listen along and feel a little less alone in the world on this one. Did you know that in today's age, 25% of kids in the US aspire to be social media influencers? The new age of social media and viability to make "influencing" into a sustainable career has skyrocketed. Especially since COVID, the number of content creators has grown with people discovering new and creative ways to share their passion, entertain and make a living right from their bedrooms. In this episode, I caught up with Martina who followed an exciting path from banking at EY to social media in a small company whilst growing her own following on @martinaliang. Mart and I chat about how she got started, what it's like day to day and where she aspires to take her brand. To be somebody, or to do something. That is a question we all struggle with in our young adult lives. Do we want to chase the clout, be recognised amongst our peers? Or are we happier doing the things that we're truly passionate about, even if no one else cares? In today's episode, I bring in Jenny to chat about this interesting dilemma. Jenny and I worked together as grads before she left to lead product at rising health startup, Eucalyptus. Since then, she's made the decision to take a year-long sabbatical and truly invest in her passions. We discuss this topic of ego as Jenny introduced me a couple of years ago to the book "Ego is the enemy" by Ryan Holliday. To follow along with Jenny's sabbatical adventures, check out her blog and subscribe to her monthly newsletter: https://jennychu.substack.com/🌻 If you enjoyed this episode or have feedback for me, please let me know at: heylinni@gmail.com For business or collaboration enquiries, reach out at: heylinni@gmail.com DM or follow me on my socials @heylini on Instagram @heylinni on TikTok @heylinni on YouTube 🌻 The Bliss Bakery is a conversation between friends on the big topics in life, as we reflect on experiences in love, friendships, work, health and more! Ohoho HELLO! The Bliss Bakery is BACK for Season 2 and kicking it off with a fascinating conversation to introduce you to a brand, new season of interesting topics, new guests (and some old faces) and crispier sound quality. In today's episode, my friend Elaine joins me to talk about her experience being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Cancer and illness can be such a sensitive topic, so I'm so thankful to Elaine who is so open and informative about her experience. I was able to ask her some pretty confronting questions to really understand what it means to have cancer, what you go through day by day and the mental toll it can take. I'm so happy that she is better now - make sure you all send her some love via the podcast comments!

OMG. SINGLES INFERNO S2. Were you watching it as avidly as we did every week? For 5 weeks, I was waiting for every Tuesday to watch the next 2 juicy episodes of Singles Inferno. Was Seulki going to end up with Jinyoung or Jongwoo? Was Soe going to get over YoongJae? Would Sejeong ever make it to paradise?? Now that the series is over and we have some answers, I sat down with my friends, Tash and Cam, to discuss and gossip over everything that happened across the season from cast opinions to major moments in the show.Â
Disclaimer: We may have some very conflicting opinions over the show but we recognise that we're making judgements based off what the producers and editors have wanted us to see. We hope we don't offend anyone and we're sure the cast is very different in real life! This was just for some fun based on what we saw in the show.Â

Last episode of Season 1 of the Bliss Bakery and of course, I couldn’t do a season without talking about one of our favourite subjects - Modern day dating! Whilst I’ve been in a relationship for a long time now, I’ve brought in my crew of experts who can share the chaos and excitement of life in the dating world. In this episode I bring in the crew, Davo, Nicolle and Rach to share about their different dating experiences, from dating apps to mutual friends to disaster dates. When we're kids and we think about moving out of home, we dream about the parties, the freedom, the new recipes and no curfew. What we DON'T really think about is the increased responsibility, bills, rent, chores and more. This was definitely my experience moving out and whilst it has helped me become more independent along the way, it hasn't been a smooth ride to gaining that independence.Â
In this episode I bring in room mates Elian and Vicky, to share their experiences moving out, challenges and highlights living with friends and the ever so spicy 🌶 question: can male & female room mates live together without it becoming romantic? 👀

I've been in a relationship for 7 years with my boyfriend and we've learned so much along the way in terms of finding balance. It's important when you get into a romantic relationship that you don't lose yourself to it. We need to learn how to maintain our own individualism whilst sharing a life with the other person. How do we keep this balance?Â
In this episode I bring in my best friend and boyfriend Lucas, to dive deep on our relationship journey, addressing common disagreements such as when one person is more needy, when jealousy comes into play and when you get TOO comfortable.Â

Feeling alone is a fundamentally human experience. At some point in our lives, we all have to experience what it is like to be lonely - and what's important is how we perceive that loneliness. Recently, I've been put in more of these situations and I wanted to reflect in this episode on the feeling of loneliness, why we feel lonely, whether it's a bad or a good thing and how I'm learning to handle it better.Â

We've all had a toxic friendship before - one where you feel yucky being in it but something keeps pulling you back. Friendships are a core part to life but also one of the most confusing things, in my opinion. How do you make friends? How do you keep it healthy? How do you know when to break up with a friend?Â
In this episode I bring in my extroverted friend Lucia Tse, to talk about her experiences with toxic friendships, what to do when you're in a toxic friendship and how to maintain healthy relationships.Â

My name is Rachel and I am an introvert. I knew I was an introvert from an early age, when my teachers would describe me as "reserved". But for the longest time, I believed this world was created for extroverts. It almost feels like you need to be an extrovert in order to be successful. It's not about what you know, but who you know...Â
When I landed in my role as a product manager, this feeling only intensified. My role expected me to be managing stakeholders, speaking to customers, influencing my team. All things that I felt uncomfortable with as an introvert. Today, I bring in my fellow introvert and PM, Jane Yeoh to speak about what being an introvert vs extrovert really means, how it's affected us at work and whether you can succeed in your career as an introvert.Â

High school is the best time in our lives...heard that before? There's something about your high school years, where you're young and naive, un-jaded by the world yet. Life is carefree, you have virtually no responsibilities, you're surrounded by mates all the time and the only worries you're having are doing well in exams and friendship group drama.Â
I had a pretty great time in high school and in this episode, I brought in a long-time high school friend Vicky Chen to reminisce on our younger years and how we've grown since then.Â

In your 20s, work becomes such a huge part of your life. We start our jobs, eager to please and ready to learn. We're striving to kick off our fruitful careers, grind hard in those early years and accelerate our journeys. It is so easy to feel like work consumes your life. The reality is, a lot of our cohort burns out from the stress, anxiety and demands of figuring out how to do work sustainably.Â
In this episode, I chat with Renee Zhang - a graduate at rising health-tech startup Eucalyptus on her perspective towards work-life balance, how remote work has affected us and stories from her past experiences in consulting, big tech and startups.Â

Hi everyone and welcome to my new podcast: The Bliss Bakery! My name is Rachel and I am a mid-20s asian female from Australia. I am a product manager in the tech industry by day, content creator outside of work. I'm so excited to share this first episode with you all as I try my hand at podcasting - hopefully to help you feel relaxed when everything else in life is so fast-moving and hectic.
Episode 1 is simply an intro to myself and what this podcast will be about. I will post episodes every Wednesday evening, where I pull in guests to talk about relatable life topics. I hope it can feel like a casual and interesting conversation to tune an ear into for some wholesome content. The first guest episode will come out this Wednesday and there will be 10 episodes in this first season. Please support me and let me know what you think!Â
