In this episode:

  • How long of a rehearsal period do you need for a monologue?
  • Depends on how much of a quick study you are with lines
  • Depends on your schedule & the time you have to work on it
  • Regardless of the other two considerations, allow at least 3 weeks (listen to learn why!)

  • Questions to ask your director self

  • Who are these people you’re talking to and where are they?
  • What are the stakes?

  • Why I suggest you put yourself on tape during the rehearsal period

  • It’s better than a mirror
  • It helps you become a better actor
  • It’s great practice for your prescreen/auditions in the fall

Also, I mentioned an updated Scooby-Doo TV series...I couldn't remember what the exact title was, so I looked it up: Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
