Even the most outwardly confident, self assured people tell me they lack in confidence. It can really make everything seem like such hard work and often means you hold yourself back from finding ease and success. Here are some tips for finding the confidence you need.
Coaching conversations often highlight how our beliefs, that can be held over many years, often shape our behaviours and attitudes negatively. Challenges these beliefs can be a game changer in life and work.
Asking yourself “what do I want” and putting a plan together to make it happen can bring purpose, clarity and confidence. Work through this simple model to create a plan to achieve what you want. You’ll find decision making is easier, you’ll be clearer about what’s important. Spend some time planning and make it happen.
It’s normal and inevitable that sometimes people wind you up, irritate, anger you even but it’s important to not let them impact you and spoil your day ( or week! ). It’s useful to explore the emotional hooks to gain insight into why you’re reacting like this and find ways of lessening the impact.
What can you do to reduce misunderstandings and conflict with others? Keep talking! Avoiding that person and not wanting to hear about their issue just makes things worse. Here are some pointers on how to build trust and reduce misunderstandings.

As a coach I hear a lot about relationships getting difficult. Don’t give up! If a relationship whether at work - a colleague or business partner, or a friend outside of work starts to turn sour, they wind you up, get on your nerves - it’s worth trying out a few things before giving up. Here I step through what you need to do to get yourself off to a flying start - setting firm foundations, identifying your why and your what and your how, so that you can be clear about your message when it comes to marketing. I look at tips for making things easier, creating a network or people around you so you don't feel isolated, being clear why you chose to do what you do, so that you feel a sense of purpose.

From working with individuals and hearing what really works, I look at simple things we can all do to build confidence and self belief. Stepping out of your comfort zone can be reframed and by hunting the good stuff, we can reprogramme our minds to see the positive, good things that we can do as opposed to constantly focusing on the negative stuff and our weaknesses.
