We’ve made it to episode 15! And we couldn’t do it without you. Okay before this sounds too cheesy, on today’s episode I talk about the tornado in the south, retail theft across the country and the surge in school violence threats. In today’s “Sorry I’m on a Tangent”, I talk about my love for QR code’s. It sounds weird, and you know what, maybe it is. Enjoy!
In our first episode since the break, we continue Season 2 with news of the day including the tornado in the south, U.S. COVID deaths reaching 800,000, and in our commentary segment “Sorry I’m on a Tangent”, I rant about my love for the Hulu show Dopesick. This might be the first time my tangent is a positive one, so enjoy that while it lasts.
In today’s episode I discuss almost entirely Facebook, so if you don’t like the app, this episode might not be for you. I talk about the worldwide outage, the Facebook testimony in Congress, and the Amtrak DEA shooting tragically leaving one DEA officer dead, and another critically wounded. In today’s tangent I talk about a lesson I learned last night about not assuming bad intentions in people. Oh boy did I mess up here, listen and find out!
In today’s episode, I begin with what else but Gabby Petito and the sad case of her death. I also discuss unruly passengers in the air and the FAA’s new demand. For today’s tangent, I focus on tipping, how ridiculous the whole concept is that customers basically pay employees’ wages, and employees at restaurants and bars confronting customers over tips. No this isn’t the movie Waiting, it happens in real life too.
In today’s episode, I unfortunately talk about COVID for 95% of the show, even though it’s the last thing I want to talk about. Topics include Pfizer saying it’s vaccine is safe for 5-11 year olds, COVID surpassing the pandemic of 1918 in deaths, and in today’s “Sorry I’m on a Tangent”, I talk about my disgust with ads that make you read. Enjoy, and spread the word on the ads that make you read. This one hits a nerve with me.
In this return episode from summer vacation, we are back with Season 2 of the podcast and our usual news and topics of the day. Today I discuss President Biden doubling down on the vaccine booster, as well as the Southern board crisis. In today's "Sorry I'm on a Tangent", my discussion/tangent/rant will focus on the closure of schools due to COVID in this new 2021-22 school year. Too many serious topics, too little time. But it's good to be back, thanks for streaming, downloading, and for the 3% of listeners I just discovered are listening from the U.K., thanks so much!
In today’s episode I discuss Governor Cuomo’s sexual harassment allegations, a new moratorium for evictions, and for today’s “Sorry I’m on a Tangent”: not being able to find anywhere that is actually quiet. And I mean anywhere you go. It’s a real problem. Don’t think it’s a problem? Listen to today’s episode and I might make you a believer. This description needs to end here because it’s starting to sound cult-like.
In today’s episode, I discuss mask mandates around the country, Uber’s reaction to the horrible murder in South Carolina, and in today’s “Sorry I’m on a Tangent”, I discuss how my gym is closing an hour early for “COVID cleaning”. I hope no one is buying that, enjoy!
In the first episode of the new season, I discuss if this really is a new season, and other news such as the Delta variant, P!nk paying fines of athletes, and other topics of the day. In this new season, I am adding a segment called “Sorry I’m on a Tangent”. Today I talk about people playing audio on their phones in public. You won’t want to miss this, especially if you’re one of these people.
In today’s episode I discuss the tragic building collapse in Surfside, Florida, sharing my thoughts on this horrible situation. I also discuss cruises resuming in the U.S. for the first time since the start of COVID-19.
In this episode, I discuss the Olympic venue capacity being capped at 50%, restaurants and retail having a very hard time finding applicants to fill jobs, and other news and topics of the day.
In today's episode, I discuss the Biden-Putin summit, the housing shortage in the U.S., and how podcast commercials are ruining what used to be one of the reasons people listen to podcasts in the first place.
Discussing Peloton's hacking and security issues, Southwest flights grounded around the U.S., California reopening, and other news and topics of the day.
Discussing if online deliveries are causing traffic, the return of the common cold, a new Prime Minister in Israel, and other news and topics of the day.
In the first episode of the Morning Show With Zach Baru, I talk about what this podcast will be about, a morning show style show discussing the news and topics of the day. Many topics are covered, such as credit card reporting sites giving false reports, and hopefully other more exciting topics.
