Many believers are unaware of the origins of sickness. For most, it is just a part of life that Gods gives grace to go through. The Bible teaches that sickness and disease is of the devil. The siren comes before the vehicle. God provides us with warnings signs to avert evil occurrences, but we have to yields to them. Many people unfortunately are not even plugged into the frequency of God to hear his voice and His direction. God does not tempt with evil; He is only good. He provides a way of escape, but we have to train ourselves to listen and obey.
While is it important to review past effort, look retrospectively at past events, it is also important we do not get stuck in the past. Past victories or failures should not define who we are or where we are going. We can only perform as best as our training. Many believers are surprised when they find out they did not say, do or act like they have intended. Being a person of your word is mor valuable to God than any skill or ability you may have. God looks for men who keep their word to establish them. In a day where it is becoming difficult to trust and keep promises, God wants us to be different. Many childhood traumas and broken relationships can be traced to broken promises. Obedience is the to the results of God. He has not called us to hustling or stress, but rest. Many are willing to eat the "good of the land" but are not obedient.
