One day, you will meet the Father, are you ready for this encounter? If you're unsure then you need to prepare and the Edge of Eternity ministry is here to help you on this journey. Edge of Eternity is intended to provide biblical proofs that help you in your daily walk with Jesus Christ. We review both Christian and secular issues and hold them up againist the Word of God.
Many people are taking it upon themselves to uphold the old Torah laws. As a result, many are deceived into thinking this is what we should be doing. God has made it clear in His Word that we are saved by Grace through Faith (Eph 2:8-9). We discuss this growing trend.
The Bible speaks about there being a great falling away from the faith in the last days. We can see on popular social media sites like TikTok that many people are preaching and professing alternative and non-biblical Gospels; this movement represents the falling away. This episode discusses the state of Christendom in today's world and how you can avoid being beguiled by "seducing spirits," and happy-go-lucky preachers.
Sin is transgression against divine law. Anything that goes against God’s divine and holy standards is a sin. As a believer understanding sin, the severity of sin and how sin affects your life and relationship with God is critical. Jesus Christ is the only redeemer of our sins, so understanding what sin is, how it affects your life and why Jesus was willing to take the punishment on our behalf is central to proper faith as a Christian.
We often hear musings like "my truth" and "your truth" and we live in a time where we are expected to be "tolerant" of the public narrative on several issues. As a result, our lives and spiritual understanding is being led more and more by experience and catering to our emotions. Is emotional gratification getting in the way of our walk with Christ?
Do we favour emotional experiences and emotional gratification over Biblical truths? Do we prioritise our own emotions over a true understanding of eternal salvation? Today's episode discusses this.
This episode aims to help the listener/viewer understand the difference between Christianity as a faith as opposed to Christianity as a religion. For this to be effective, both the host and the guest must define the main differences between contemporary Christianity and contemporary Christian faith and make it clear where they differ.
Once a clear distinction has been made, we will then compare both sets of practices back to the Holy Bible, because the Holy Bible is the benchmark, standard and pillar in which every professing Christian must adhere to. The Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God; therefore, a Christian’s faith rests on their relationship and familiarity with the Bible.
Self-help is everywhere. There are so many resources out there and many Christians fall prey to the lusts of self-development, self-improvement and all things self-help. Whilst this may seem innocent and honorable, the focus of your life as a Christian should be on Jesus Christ and not on yourself. Self-help eventually results in idolarty, worldliness and a lack of focus and faith on Jesus, which means you serve the wrong master. Chrisitians should be very careful and avoid this seemingly innocent world as all sin starts off small.
