It's been a minute since we last posted !! This episode is with Jake only as he realizes that there are only 48 days until the hunt! He talks about some of what he has learned from starting the podcast and how its going to help him "Focus Up" and make sure he's ready for the hunt only 48 short days away! It might be boring-- but it's short-- so give it a listen lol!!

This episode features John Bundy, the father of Jake and Jesse Bundy, and some of his adventures in Mexico. It starts off with Jesse's grim realization that his current pec muscle tear could, if not fixed, prevent him from ever besting Ky in the bench press. A hilarious story about Jesse as an 8 year old eating street tacos in Ensenada Mexico leads the conversation into reminiscing about Mexican adventures that the 3 have had at different times throughout their lives. John joins the conversation despite being in the middle of a tornado while being housed up in a small trailer/modular home without a basement. The conversation then follows a couple of the many adventures that John has had over the years. Listen in for a couple good stories and always a good time!

This episode starts off with more hilarious mic troubles, a discussion about the effectiveness of BCAAs vs Sunkist Zero, and a discussion about the upcoming Silver Mountain Hard Enduro race that the trio are signed up for. Jake promises reveals a big surprise about custom jerseys and an option for our listeners to sponsor the Trio for this Race (more to come about this later). The main episode centers around part 2 of the 5 Miles of Hell! It follows the more prepared and planned out 3 back into the mouth of Hell once more, but unfortunate weather threatened to make this trip harder than the last one! Listen in for some light hearted fun!!

This bonus clip of the Trio is a must listen. Jake, while on scene, gives us the inside scoop of the flipped car in the ditch. During his report, Ky continues to have war with the microphone. Please enjoy this behind scenes look at what typically happens before each Unlikely Trio episode.

First race of the year. Ky and our special guest, Trevor Watson, talk about their recent adventure on a 50 mile desert race. From Trevor wearing one boot too small and one too big, and Ky showing up with no brake fluid in his back brake; you know this is a typical Trio adventure. Ky explains how he survived the worst wreck in his dirt bike career and was still able to finish in the top ten. We also talk why Trevor is boycotting a very popular restaurant, and things get a little awkward between Jesse and Trevor since Trevor is now part of the Webb family after marrying Ky's sister.

This episode takes a slight deviation from the normal light hearted and adventurous conversations that you're used to, in order to shed some light on a very tough situation. Episode 8 is a heart felt conversation with Andre Zinkovski, a citizen of Kharkiv Ukraine which is under attack by the Russian military. Andre is trying to make a positive difference during this dangerous time. Jake has a one on one conversation with Andre about the state of things in his home town, how he is trying to help during these scary times, and how people on the outside can assist him in his efforts. Having served in Russia for two years as a young man and coming to know and love the people of that area of the world, Jake felt a deviation from the normal light hearted comedy that the Trio is built upon was warranted in order to help share Andre's story and maybe help just a little.

On this episode the Trio gain an audience with Idaho Governor hopeful and public figure Ammon Bundy. The conversation centers around Ammon and what drives him to take a stand and put it all on the line for what he believes is right. With Ammon being a great dancer, successful business man, and a pillar of faith, Ammon gives the Trio a lot to talk about! Give it a listen and you may find Ammon to be someone different than who you expected!

Episode 5.5 is a short that features the Trio attempting to get Episode 6 up and recording. The banter between the 3 is just too good to leave out! Listen in and hear Ky lie and attempt to pass his head phones and truck as a recording area, but not let Jesse and Jake know about it. There is a moment when mysterious noises are heard and never explained and we hear Jesse and Ky compare their choice in women to an old pick up truck...not a good way to appeal to the ladies. This bonus episode is just a little extra--in case you needed more! Listen in for a little more insight to how episode 6 got started!!

Episode 6 follows the Trio into the depths of the infamous 5 Miles of Hell trail in Southern Utah. The trip is spurred along by Jake's obsession with attempting things that seem impossible and Jesse's failed music video shoot. The trip quickly becomes a typical Trio a combination of factors to include underestimation of the actual trail, snowy weather, and a serious lack of water. On this episode the Trio tracks down Tim who seemed to appear out of heavens at a very crucial point in the trip to provide some water, a motivated attitude, and a granola bar! Tim gives his perspective on the Trio, the trail, and future adventures in this episode. Listen in for a good story, a few laughs, and a good time! Be sure to listen to the prequel Episode 5.5: 5 Miles of Hell Prequel for some extra insight and laughs as the Trio set up for the recording of Episode 6!

Unfortunately Jesse is unable to make it on this weeks podcast due to work and another Trio trip in the works. This small bump in the road didn't stop the show from going on as Jake and Ky keep it rolling. Episode 5 follows Jake and Ky on a dangerous, but beautiful dirt bike trip high into the mountains. Listen along to hear about high mountain lakes, beautiful mountain vistas, dangerous switch backs, a hill that breaks and humbles both Jake and Ky, and a partial dip in a freezing cold, but refreshing mountain stream! It's a great story and a good time! It was also a great time making the episode as displayed by the bloopers at the beginning and end of the podcast. Make sure to listen till the end!

In Episode 4 The Unlikely Trio have their first guest on the show! Listeners are introduced to Bob Potter who is what the Trio consider to be a "Man's Man"! He is a published writer, he dirt bikes, hunts, owns his own successful business, and has an amazing family! Bob has driven himself to become the very best at Western Mule Deer Hunting and considers it to be the ultimate form of adventure. The Trio seek to understand what makes bob tick, what drives his passion for mule deer hunting, and life in general. Along with a few pointers, general advice, and a history of how he became such a hunter, Bob goes into detail about one of his most memorable hunts. Listen in for a good, informative, and memorable episode!!

Episode 3 takes a deep dive into Jake, Jesse, and Ky's first ever dirt bike race in Montana! A short recap of last week is followed by the unprepared, sporadic, and slightly hazardous story of the Elk Basin Dirt Bike trip. An unplanned side trip to "practice our starts", Dominos garlic knots in Jesse's pants, scary movie, and a late night debacle prior to the race, set the stage leading up to the race. Late to the race with hot dogs, mustard, and firewood in hand, these three have to race to get to the race! Seems that pre race rituals don't normally include eating a pack of hot dogs and not drinking water, however these three maybe don't fully get whats in store for them. The race begins with a great start for Ky and Jake, but Jesse finds a face full of dirt and becomes friends with a large tumble weed! With a quick skinny dip in the canal and a long dive ahead, the two brothers fight with Ky pretending to sleep in the back! Listen in for some fun, laughs, and a good time!
