Our First Family Road Trip as a Family of 13

Andrea & Ridge had a beautiful tender mercy at the Holdman Center in Lehi. In meeting the owner/artist, Jon Holdman, he shared his struggle living with a stutter. Holdman's story affected how Andrea & I view our own struggles and the hardships within our family.

Many years ago we began advocating for a boy in Colombia who has Down syndrome named Vaughn. As the years passed by, the hope for Vaughn to receive his forever family dwindled. It just didn't add up why we couldn't find Vaughn a family.
But just as we've seen so many times before, God had a plan for Vaughn, and it was bigger than any of us could have ever imagined.
