Dowry, as a practice, is thriving in India. Researchers from a World Bank Study found that dowry was paid in 95% of the marriages even though it's been illegal in India since 1961.
But some people refute these statistics and present alternate, but exaggerated claims on the Dowry Prohibition Act. This episode is all about such logical fallacies, exaggerations, lies, and debate tactics that some non-feminists use to make their point.
