As an asylum immigrant from Colombia to Aotearoa, Jose has had quite the journey to help support the community around him and what it means for Colombian immigrants. With a background in entrepreneurship and youth empowerment while working for the government in Colombia, he has faced the Colombian mafia head-on, as what he did challenged and was a threat to their lifestyle.
