The Dominion war is over, Starfleet is slowly rebuilding after the devastation, and the Federation is looking to return to the ways of exploration and peaceful contact.
Europa is a brand new, state of the art, Luna class starship with a new Prototype Positronic and Bioneural computer system and an advanced AI.
She carries with her, high hopes, and even higher expectations. Starfleet has assigned the best, and the brightest to Europa, and all eyes will be on her as she heads into the Expanse.
SILVA, TONG, and TAHNA are in a shady dark world looking for information about Lupek and his dealings. SILVA makes contact with an old friend that is now in the Orian Syndicate.
Denni Tolbus is a former Maquis driven into service with the Syndicate after the Dominion eradicated most other Maquis. Denni barely escaped with his life and has only recently managed to work himself out of his indenture to become somewhat trusted. Lupek has been dealing with Denni's boss, an Orion named Mysha.
Following this lead, Europa heads to Bish'Ari space, where they encounter a third massive space station, The Bazaar, and a warlord named Jakhari.

It's strange to see Europa in a Klingon dry dock…but the Federation has sent top-level engineers to get us up and running again, and Repairs are underway. We've been well treated here on Qo'nos. The celebration of the return of Chancellor Martok to the Great Hall and the end of the third major Klingon Civil War in a decade… has been the sort of things, no doubt, grandiose operas will be written about.
But, as the engineering teams continue their work, the rest of the crew finally has a little time on their hands.

The battle of Qu'nos begins as ships from all three factions arrive. Europa detects a transport down to the surface and sends an away team down.
Captains Log: Supplemental We are en route to the Nordi-Rex system in disputed space near the Neutral Zone. Intelligence reports that DaiMon Lupek has an outpost in the region, and Gothmara, the Klingon geneticist that was using Romulan and Borg technologies to create enhanced clone Klingon warriors, may have a vested interest in Lupek's operation

It's been almost 4 months since the Romulans entered the war against the House of Toral… this marks two superpowers in the Beta Quadrant engulfed, not only in a war with each other but each their own Civil War.
The Federation has officially declared war on the House of Toral but remains uncommitted to the Romulan conflict. Fortunately, the Romulans are more open about their commitments. Admiral Mendek's forces are making progress against those of Pro-Counsul Sela. He has dispatched over a dozen ships to aid Chancellor Martok in finally routing Toral from Quo'nos. He has also appointed Commander Dareeth, a cunning if not reluctant warrior, to take command of all Romulan forces in the Klingon theater.
There is still much resistance coming from the House of Toral, but I with the combined effort of the Romulans, Martok, and Starfleet… the end is in sight.
In the meantime, I've got a new officer coming aboard… Lt CMD Gerald Moss. He'll be taking over the Flight Operations position. He's got an outstanding record and was highly recommended by Admiral Aralni. He'll manage al shuttle operations and command the Peregrine wing.

Captain's Log, Supplemental. While we wait for the recommendation of Lt. CMDR Harris in regards to Dr Oneat, and the hopeful return of Lts Tong and Silva, Europa will be on a "wellness patrol" of the region. These tend to be rather dull assignments since the Romulan's signed the Dominion War pact. However, with the current internal struggles rumored in the Empire, and the ongoing Klingon civil war, tensions could be very high.

Captains Log, Stardate 54739.02. Starfleet Command wasn’t very forthcoming with details, but Admiral Aralani confirmed Europa’s temporary detachment from Nerendra Task Force. We have been ordered to report, with all possible speed, to Starbase 234. Starfleet Security has sent the USS Ranger to rendezvous with us.
In addition, EVA reported that two members of my crew have received “Eyes-Only” encoded messages from Starfleet Security. Lt Tong and Lt Sliva have been reassigned to Ranger… I am in the dark here, and I am not happy about it.
To make matters worse, Starfleet Command has also dispatched JAG to look into some recent activity of my XO and Chief Medical Officer…

The Larimarians are a very advanced and powerful silicon-based species from the ocean world Larimar. Their physiology is unlike any carbon based lifeform, and is well adapted to extreme temperatures and pressures. The Larimarian culture has little sense of time, possession, or individuality, viewing themselves as a part in a larger whole. They have a reputation for stubbornness, being inflexible in both behaviour and attitude, but above all else, Larimarians want their people to be safe and united.

A recent Klingon long range survey of the Hallrioon System reveiled a possible mega structure that appeared to be orbiting a singularity. As Europa heads towards the Hallrioon System, Commander Ambrose takes time to test the crews skills and combat readiness.
There have been some strange readings from the Nolist Sector. We have sent several probes, but we have lost contact with all of them. The information we do receive is garbled, but there seems to be an energy source shrouded behind an event horizon.
Strange "subspace" signals have been coming from the Availain system. Long range surveys indicate only one M Class world, and the scans show the civilization appears to only be in the approximately that of mid 21st Century Earth.
