We took a look at the top-paying certifications for 2021 (so far) and not to our surprise, out of the 15 certifications listed, the top 3 were all cloud certifications! The list came from Global Knowledge and you can check it out here. We also vented some frustrations with Cisco and where they’re at as a company trying to compete in the modern age. If Dean and Pat had to start over again in IT, they would both go cloud. The “big 3” players at this stage of the game are AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure. Each provider has a “free tier” of gear that you can spin up and get familiar with, if you’re interested in signing up, use the links.
