We are at Season 2's finale!! I can't think of a better way to end it with such an important album in rock history. Not only that, this album is a hot topic right now with Spencer Elden suing the band for allowing the photo of him in the nude on the front cover. Gasp!! Don't worry, he was a baby!! However, Elden thinks that it's child pornography. We'll go into that along with going into the background of the album. Come on down in the basement, and enjoy season 2's final episode!!
30 years of Metallica's Black Album!! Come stop by the basement as we celebrate! We are going to go in great detail about the album along with its, not one, but multiple subsequent tours!! I'm sure all of us metalheads have had some sort of relationship with this album, and you don't want to miss this anniversary celebration!
With the sad news this past week, I had to do a tribute to the late, great Dusty Hill of ZZ Top. This band is so iconic, and I feel like they are one of the only bands who put a focus on their image which made them so cool!! I am still hoping that one day, the band will show up at my work, toss me the ZZ Top Keys, and I will ride off into the night in that classic 1933 Ford Coupe.
It's time to finally get really HEAVY this season with some Rob Zombie!! I freaking love Rob Zombie not only as a musician, but as a human being. Take a listen to his first solo album and fall in love with this old school horror nerd as I have!

Let's finish off the Pride Month Specials right with some Freddie Mercury and Queen!! I can't believe it has taken me this long to feature the album with "Bohemian Rhapsody" on it!! I mean, the podcast is called The Headbanger Podcast, and how did I overlook the song that basically made headbanging a thing with its feature on Wayne's World??

As a totally underrated band, Faith No More actually influenced so many alternative metal and rap metal bands of the 90s. Where has this band been my whole life!? I just found out about Halestorm a few weeks ago, and man do they rock!! We are continuing our tribute for Pride Month as the lead singer, Lzzy Hale is bisexual. She is amazing, and does so much to represent mental health, women, and the LGBTQ community when it comes to heavy metal.
