We welcome Mike Pantile on the podcast today along with returning guest Will Spencer to discuss some hot topics among the church or maybe hot topics that the church conveniently avoids. The red pill can be taken in a few contexts here but ultimately we view it as the reality of human nature. Feminism is based on many lies, especially in how God designed things.
Today we have the pleasure of talking to Joe Tewell about obesity in the church. In this conversation we will explore strategies to help our brothers and sister become healthy and connect more deeply with their bodies, families and God. Joe is a published author and co-founder of the Christian fitness ministry Fit For The King. Joes 30+ year fitness and wellness career has been based upon one common observation he sees in people pursuing self-improvement- if a person has a healthy way to deal with adversity, loss, and suffering in life they will overcome the challenges faced. He helps people overcome a negative mindset and habits that sabotage a good physical, spiritual relationship themselves. He believes the struggle we all face in life can either be a force to over come these habits or give into them. His focus is getting his clients healthier on the inside so that their body will change on the outside.
Today Mel joins us from IYKYK Dating. She hosts events for Christian singles and is a dating coach. I personally found him on Uberboyos podcast where he elucidated key points critiquing the western church ( all in love guys ) while expertly navigating Uber boys Nietzschen philosophy and remedying the fallout present Therein. Points on recognizing Christian scapegoating and other furtive habits of the church were discussed. David has a fundamental approach that brings the abstract Jesus into a more vital incarnation- all this without dismissing the abstract but honing the focus to appropriate action and progress in the church.

@glennlawrence_presents and @rpthor1259 join us today to talk about various red pill and Christianity topics including fornication in the Bible, p*rn, marriage, dating, advice on filtering women, genuine desire and remaining abstinent, and red pill rage.

Today, we talk about the church, where the term comes from in the Bible, and how does it look in practice. Spoiler alert, it's not a building you go to only on Sunday mornings to check a box. We encourage all our Christian brothers and sister to not do life alone and either connect with a local church or create a group like the Iron Disciples on their own. Don't hesitate to reach out if you ever want advice on that.
Ben Shapiro and Russell Brand - Two of the brightest men and thought leaders break down how rules equal freedom, using Judaism as a spring board. Stark contrasts are drawn between Judaism, Christianity and spirituality to prove points. Joe and John pick apart some of the presuppositions put on Christianity and give kudos to Ben and Russell.
This is our 9th episode of the Biblical series on Matthew. We take an inside look at the content covered in our bi-weekly Iron Disciples meetings. We dig into Matthew 10 and go over the notes John puts together for our group. Note: Had some tech issues this one. We lost audio near the end so ended up with camera audio so that's why the random change of audio quality near the end.
Dave joins us today to talk about @AwakenWithJP 's video about his change in belief about God. We go through a few of the main parts of the video we thought were impactful and resonated with us. It's so great to hear JPs testimony and that he is using his large platform to push people in the right direction, which we obviously view as a saving relationship with Jesus. We hope JP has accepted Christ and will be praying for him.
In this podcast we discover the process by which we choose leaders and judge their competence. There are few things held in high esteem as leadership, and for good reason. Leadership is the responsibility to help others grow and learn. Nothing is as important as that. The truth is you can’t escape life without being led and leading others. Whether you are a leader of thousands or a leader of a household you are an essential part of the community.
What is Toxic Positivity? One definition commonly used is toxic positivity as the excessive and ineffective overgeneralization of a happy, optimistic state across all situations. The process of toxic positivity results in the denial, minimization, and invalidation of the authentic human emotional experience. It's an interesting topic we wanted to discuss because today there is a lot of success grifters, prosperity preachers, and other forms of ignoring reality for a false positive view.
Recently, we had a live discussion on Instagram regarding men and why they aren't attending church in the West. Topics of this discussion include the pacification of the western church and it's leaders, the progression of feminism in churches since the Sexual Revolution, the need for brotherhood, apologetics, and self-persecution, and an assortment of other issues. We are joined by Glenn Lawrence further along in the livestream. Please bear with us as the audio saved from the IG live isn't very good quality.
In this episode, we discuss how habits and routine are key in keeping a steady growing relationship with God. We cover our own daily habits for examples and encourage you all to develop your own routine that keeps pushing you forward. Don't rely on motivation or inspiration to dive into the Bible or spend time in prayer. Make it a daily habit. You may feel some days that you get nothing out of it and that is okay, God is always at work and tomorrow is another day. Socials/Podcast links https://linktr.ee/irondisciples
Today we discuss Proverbs 31 and how it describes a great wife and some of the sort of confusing things it mentions that don't fit the culture today. We also go over some polls that we asked our audience in what they find most valuable in their future wife as well as what would concern them most.
Today we hit the topics of training to failure and then touch on overtraining. We think training to failure and understanding your body and where it reaches failure is important in anyone's fitness journey. Overtraining can slow your progress as well, so we touch on some of the symptoms of that and the importance of what you are doing outside the gym to stay healthy. Socials/Podcast links https://linktr.ee/irondisciples
Repost of a Youtube Live Mike did with @glennlawrencepresents about the red pill and Christianity. We cover frame, abstinence, church leadership, divorce, adultery, evangelizing to men, red pill and Biblical truths, and more. Check out Glenn's channel as well and help us continue these conversations that need to happen among Christians today.
Today we discuss in the opening some of the misconceptions of the red pill and how some Christian creators are going after it. We then dig into the topic of Frame and what that means to us and our thoughts on it from a Biblical perspective and relationally. The man as the head of the family needs to understand Frame and how to hold it. The 'happy wife, happy life' mantra that a lot of men, especially Christian men, operate in leads to the husband being in the wife's frame and her ultimately leading.
Our 8th episode of the Biblical series on Matthew. This is an inside look of the content we cover in our bi-weekly Iron Disciples meetings. Spinning Plates, also known as non exclusive dating, is the topic today. Rollo Tomassi talks about this in his Rationale Male book and we have seen it come up in Christian articles where women are promoting the idea taking a 90 day period of non exclusive dating to vet their options with men. Is this a solution to the dating market today on vetting a potential spouse or will it cause more frustration and hurt? Let us know what you think in the comments.
Bro splits, full body splits, banana splits... we cover the topic of some various workout splits that are common at the gym and then what we personally do and why. Ultimately we advise to stick to something that you can be consistent with, don't just copy the latest IG influencer because they seem to know what they are doing. Research and find a routine that works best for you.
What is the goal of the Iron Disciples group? We talk about that today as we explain how we want to encourage men of many different theological backgrounds to grow spiritually and physically. We also address how we view theological differences amongst Christians and where we see the priorities. Christians will divide over issues like baptism, gifts of the Holy Spirit, earth age, etc. Our aim is to focus on the core of the gospel and let people decide for themselves on the secondary topics and encourage them not to be divisive.
We discuss the differences between adultery and sexual immorality/fornication in the Bible. It's an interesting topic because often people seem to assume adultery and fornication are synonymous when they are quite different. Feel free to raise any questions or thoughts in the comments on the Youtube version.
Sleep is a key element in recovery and an overall healthy lifestyle. We give our opinions and advice on the topic as well as some of our favorite resources like Andrew Huberman and Dr. Matthew Walker. Today we cover grifters on a wide range of topics from fitness people, like the Liver King, to potential controversial views on how some churches could be labeled in a grifter category to some degree. Part of this conversion also involves us as a culture being addicted to the soundbite version of things rather than intaking it in full. We want the silver bullet instead of the hard work.
Today we discuss a chapter out of the Rationale Male Religion book titled Christian Kosher. Among other things, the topic is about Christians kowtowing to culture to keep the seats filled. This can range from things that are more amoral, like music style and dance, to moral issues, like views on gay marriage and abortion. We can see this in opinion polls that Christian views shift over time to often follow culture trends. Surveys we discuss: https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/12/18/most-u-s-christian-groups-grow-more-accepting-of-homosexuality/ https://www.christianitytoday.com/news/2022/january/evangelical-abortion-views-age-gap-younger-pro-life.html
We discuss a few questions we'd have for God if given the opportunity. We cover life on other planets, Satan, angels, hell, beauty and a few others. Know that we aren't claiming to know these answers and some of what we say could be inaccurate from a theology standpoint as we ponder this fun questions. We would love to know what questions you have for God or if you have any thoughts on the ones we discuss. Socials/Podcast links https://linktr.ee/irondisciples

Our Ukrainian brother Anton join us today to tell some of his story of how he lived the secular man's dream as we say, living all over the world and having tons of women, and the emptiness that led to. Anton recently returned from a 4 month Alaskan crab boat fishing adventure that really allowed him to reset his mindset and grow his relationship with Christ.
Today we react to Jordan Peterson's discussion with Douglas Murray and Jonathan Pageau about science, religion, rationality, and ethics. Watching their full discussion will leave your brain worn out but we highly recommend it. It is interesting to watch these brilliant minds debate these topics and we hope to present a view of it through our Christian lens. The existence of God ultimately is required to even make these conversations worthwhile because the conclusion of atheism is nihilism.
Today we welcome on John and Joe's long time friend Paul Fournier. Paul, a touring singer songwriter and empowerment influencer, discusses life, relationships, and blending eastern practices with a Christian perspective.
Our 6th episode of the Biblical series on Matthew. This is an inside look of the content we cover in our bi-weekly Iron Disciples meetings. We dig into Matthew 7 and go over the notes John puts together for our group.

Today we welcome on a fellow ID brother Jesse to discuss the debate of cessationism vs continuationism. This is a discussion on the gifts of the Holy Spirit and if they still exist today as they did in the early church. Jesse has spent considerable time in both camps and considers himself sort of in the middle now, which is how the 3 of us would also consider ourselves. Further definitions of the 2 concepts below.
Continuationism is the belief that all the spiritual gifts, including healings, tongues, and miracles, are still in operation today, just as they were in the days of the early church. A continuationist believes that the spiritual gifts have “continued” unabated since the Day of Pentecost and that today’s church has access to all the spiritual gifts mentioned in the Bible.
Cessationism is a doctrine that spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues, prophecy and healing ceased with the Apostolic Age. The doctrine was developed in the reformation and is particularly associated with the Calvinists. More recent development has tended to focus on other spiritual gifts too, owing to the advent of Pentecostalism and the Charismatic movement that have popularized a radical continuationism – the position that the spiritual gifts are meant for all Christians in every age.

We welcome one of the original Iron Disciples, Phil Eddy. Phil met John and Joe before we had the concept of Iron Disciples even formed and has been an amazing brother with us since. Part 1 of this video Phil goes into his family and life background. Part 2 will go into his unique story of how God used an LSD experience at a low point in his life to reshape his thinking and have him seek out church and later finding Jesus. Disclaimer: We do not recommend the use of such substances and hope to dig into that topic deeper on a future podcast.

Today we welcome on our friends Kayla and Helena to discuss Christian dating today. We cover a variety of topics like what they are looking for in a Christian man and how important are things such as looks, career, chemistry, interests, etc. We also dig into topics like hypergamy, dating apps, and how our family and past relationships influence things.
In this podcast we cover sort of a general view of what is termed as the Red Pill on the internet and some of the topics they talk about such as how the dating market has changed, hypergamy, how we think about someone's past, and our own experiences. We reference the book The Rationale Male by Rollo Tomassi which is a secular look into the dynamics between men and women and it connects a lot of dots in how we behave. It has a lot of interesting content and opinions but we would definitely advise Christians to read it with the realization the opinions/solutions given are often not of Christian morals.
The Red Pill community points out a lot of truths today but some of the popular content creators advocate for some questionable solutions and those familiar will know what we mean. We hope to continue this conversation in the future and provide a Christian perspective on how to navigate dating relationships today.
Our discussion after going over Matthew 1 & 2. We discuss human nature, suffering, Joe's view of the Quran, and prayer.
The first of our Biblical series on Matthew. This is an inside look of the content covered in our bi-weekly Iron Disciples meetings. Part 1 of this video covers Matthew 1 and 2 along with the notes John puts together for our group. Part 2 is our discussion following that sort of ends up all over the place.
We interview our brother Shannon, who is one of the first Iron Disciples members and helped name the group. We're happy to welcome him on as our first guest to share his testimony.
Enjoy!
