Does a spirit in hell burn for all eternity or is the spirit destroyed/burned up and is gone?
I know the Bible says the fire of hell is eternal and the "smoke of their torment goes up forever" but does that mean their torment last forever?

Week three of our sermon series The Way. We witness Peter’s growth as a disciple from being invited (John 1:40-42) toworshiping (Matthew 16:13-17) to wrestling and denial (Matthew 16:21-27, Luke 22:54-62) to ultimately being the leader of the church (John 21:15-17). We too need to grow. Also, growth is not linear (the denial came after his worship moment) but circular. Matthew 16:21-27
