This sub-podcast, something away from the main podcast is just me expressing my thoughts, opinions or reaction to something big going on in the world of football. Today I react and give my opinion regarding UEFA scrapping the Away Goals Rule in club competition starting next season. This sub-series will develop as we go on and lets see where it goes from here.
18 Goals in the Final 4 Group stage games. In this episode we break down the Final Four groups stage games diving more so into the Portugal V France and Hungary V Germany games. We then set our sights on the round of 16 predicting the teams we think will go forward in the tournament.
As the EUROS continue we cover fixtures from the last few days, Russia V Denmark, Belgium V Finland, Croatia V Scotland, and the big one: England V Czech Republic. As the tight England game ends in a narrow 1-0 win, questions continue with Southgate as a manager and things get a bit heated in this episode regarding the tactics.
As the round of 16 solidifies we start spotting out teams that have proved better than others. We cover the Italy v Wales game which finalized that Italy are a team to definitely be taken seriously. We then go onto cover the fast paced game that was Netherlands v North Macedonia. Lastly we cover important transfer news that has been drowned out because of the EUROS.
Match day 2 concludes with a thrilling Germany V Portugal game in the mix. The group of death lights up as the World Champions draw against Hungary in a shock result. We break down the France v Hungary game giving our reactions. We then breakdown the thriller that was Portugal v Germany. Germany have arrived at the Euros, DO NOT write them off. We conclude the matchday giving our thoughts on the Spanish disappointment as so many miss chances lead to a 1-1 draw between Spain and Poland. Lastly we give our prediction for the France V Portugal game to conclude the episode.
We complete 1/2 of Matchday two and center todays episode based off England V Scotland. As a supporter of England this EUROS I had some heavy emotions to convey in this episode regarding their performance. We dive into what Southgate needs to change to try and win the EUROS and what line-up he should really use. We then touch on the other results from 1/2 of Matchday 2 and cast our opinion on upcoming big fixtures: Portugal v Germany.
Match Day 1 of the EUROS draws to a close and was full of exciting results and games. We start off covering the Spain v Sweden game which ended 0-0; we dive into the absence of Serio Ramos. We then enter the group of death diving more into depth and breaking down the Portugal v Hungary game and the France v Germany game. We end with our prediction for the Italy v Switzerland Game.
Firstly sending our thoughts and prayers to Eriksen and his family.
We then go on to cover half of match day one of the EUROS 2020, diving deeper into Croatia v England.
We touch on the upcoming Euros and on who we think will win. We also express the teams we are supporting in the upcoming international tournament. We then move on to talk about the CIES Transfer valuation and our reaction to the players and prices. As United fans we have to touch on the huge yet window dressed Untied Fan Forum talk. Lastly we move onto the biggest robbery ever, Harry Kane being robbed of Player of the Year.
