Welcome back to our podcast! Today, we have some updates and challenges to discuss regarding Ezekiel's journey to Fiji. As you may recall, Ezekiel recently left for Fiji for a week of meaningful work. The rest of us, Sis Marshall, Adrianna, Andrew, and Paul, gathered at the airport to support him and manage his visa paperwork for his return.Welcome to today's podcast! This morning, we said âsee you laterâ to Ezekiel as he left on a journey to Fiji for a week of meaningful work. Meanwhile, the rest of us, Sis Marshall, Adrianna, Andrew, and Paul, gathered at the airport to support him.Now moving on to manage his visa paperwork for his return. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and stories ahead! In the coming months, we will face a series of challenges as we navigate the visa process for Ezekiel. Currently, he is on a visitor's visa, which means we will need to renew it every 60-90 days until we can obtain permanent visa status for him next year in August.Fortunately, Sister Marshall, Adrianna, and I are covered under our 3-year visas, providing some stability. However, this means we will need to ensure Ezekiel's visa is always up to date and explore alternative visa options for him as soon as possible. Some struggles we face having an adult child in the missionary field are,1. Emotional challenges: Being in a foreign mission field with adult children can be emotionally challenging, as it may involve being separated from loved ones.2. Limited support network: Living in a foreign mission field may mean having a limited support network compared to what one might have in their home country. This can make it harder to navigate challenges and seek assistance when needed.3. Balancing responsibilities: Juggling the responsibilities of being a missionary and a parent to adult children can be challenging. It may involve managing their own ministry work while also supporting and guiding their adult children through their own lives and challenges.4. Limited access to resources: Being in a foreign mission field may mean having limited access to resources that are readily available in their home country. This can include healthcare, education, and other services that may be important for both the missionary and their adult children. This process requires careful planning and coordination to avoid any disruptions in Ezekiel's ability to stay and work in Fiji. We understand that it may be a complex and time-consuming endeavor, but we are committed to seeing it through.By staying organized, staying informed about visa requirements and deadlines, and seeking assistance from immigration professionals if necessary, we hope to successfully navigate this process and secure Ezekiel's long-term visa status. That's all for today's podcast. The Apostolic National Conference in Papua New Guinea (PNG) was nothing short of extraordinary. As attendees gathered from far and wide, they experienced a spiritual awakening like never before. The event was a testament to the power of faith and the unwavering devotion of those present. With twenty individuals receiving the Holy Ghost and eight being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, the conference marked a profound turning point in the lives of many. The experience of being filled with the Holy Ghost is often described as an overwhelming surge of divine presence and guidance. It's a moment when believers feel an intimate connection with God, and this conference witnessed twenty souls embarking on this sacred journey. The manifestation of speaking in tongues and the interpretation of tongues further exemplified the spiritual depth of the conference.Healings, too, played a pivotal role in the conference. Miraculous recoveries and the alleviation of ailments were witnessed firsthand. These acts of divine intervention served as a powerful reminder of the healing power of faith and the boundless compassion of a loving God.Brother Marshall, who shared this remarkable account, emphasized the significance of this spiritual revival. Such gatherings serve as catalysts for individual transformation and collective growth. They are a reminder that faith transcends geographical boundaries and cultural differences, uniting people in their shared belief. As the podcast continued, Brother Marshall addressed a crucial matterâa request and a call to action for supporters. In the realm of faith-based conferences, there is often a need for financial support to continue organizing such events. These gatherings require venues, accommodations, and various resources to ensure they run smoothly. Brother Marshall's call to action was an invitation to those who were moved by the conference's impact to contribute in any way they could, be it through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word. This call to action was not just about financial support; it was an invitation to be a part of a movement, to play a role in facilitating these transformative experiences for others. It was a reminder that the conference wasn't a one-time event but part of an ongoing journey of faith and spiritual growth. In conclusion, the Apostolic National Conference in PNG was a testament to the enduring power of faith and the profound experiences it can bring. It was a gathering that witnessed the Holy Ghost filling hearts, baptisms in the name of Jesus Christ, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, and miraculous healings. Brother Marshall's message served as a reminder that such events rely on the support and involvement of the community of believers. It was a call to action, an invitation to participate in the continuation of this remarkable journey of faith. In the end, it was a celebration of the boundless love and grace of a benevolent God.--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/missionaryrd/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/missionaryrd/support

Talking about our week, year, and great things in PNG! We have baptized around 410 people in PNG in the past almost 9 months! God is moving! Here is the reading from Pioneer Missionary Nona Freeman penned 36 tips for reducing stress:1. Pray 2. Go to bed on time. 3. Get up in time so you can start your day relaxed and rested. 4. Say no to time consuming projects that compromises mental health.5. Delegate tasks to capable others. 6. Simplify and unclutter your life. 7. Less is more. Although one is often not enough, two can often be too many.8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places. 9. Pace yourself. Spread big changes and difficult projects and don't lump the hard things together. 10. Take one day at a time. 11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you to do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it and move on. You are human. 12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases. 13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc. 14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble. 15. Do something for the child in you everyday. 16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting. 17. Get enough exercise. 18. Eat right. 19. Get organized so everything has its place. 20. Listen to a cd or tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life. 21. Write thoughts and inspirations down. 22. Every day, find time to be alone even if just for several minutes. 23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray. 24. Make friends with Godly people. 25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand. 26.Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you, Jesus!" 27. Laugh. 28. Laugh some more! 29. Take your work seriously, but yourself not at all. 30. Develop a forgiving attitude because most people are doing the best they can. 31. Be kind to unkind people; they probably need it the most. 32. Sit on your ego. 33. Talk less; listen more. 34. Slow down. 35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe. 36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ryandmarshall/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ryandmarshall/support

GMC 2023 Update!
Sorry I wasnât able to update yesterday, we have been at GMC, and yesterday was our re appointment to PNG! It is such an honor to serve in PNG, and we have been approved to go back and continue the work for another term!
Last night was world missions night, and we got to hear from Pastor Toufic Azar. His ministry holds a dear place in my heart. Beirut was the first international mission trip that I had the opportunity to go on, and his family has been such a blessing, and inspiration to me, and my family.
I would like to thank Sis Keino, and Sis Scott for hosting the missionary wives, and daughters yesterday for a luncheon and fellowship.
So many people donât realize how important fellowship is. When in the field we often see a few ministers come through for conferences, and for training seminars, but many times we see the husbands. Missionary wives more often than not have no fellowship. I know it was a blessing to my wife and daughter, and am sure it was to everyone who was there.
We still have 2 days of services, and canât wait to see what God is going to do!
A prophecy came forth last night at conference, and it was powerful, and amazing. The prophecy was, â the drought of missionaries is overâ.
We know the harvest is white and ready, but the laborers are few.
God put a burden on several people during the missions service last night, and I canât wait to see people walk in their calling.
I say all the time being a missionary isnât necessarily going overseas, or thousands of miles away, but it is a hunger for souls.
If God is leading you to hungry souls, and he is opening doors for you to walk through you need to do so. You are being a missionary setting at a dining room table, or at a restaurant just sharing the Word of the Lord!
We are excited about this coming Sunday! Ezekiel will be getting ordained at our home church, and we couldnât be more excited!
Short podcast this week, it is a busy one, and once we get back to Indiana for a very short time, we will be packing, saying our goodbyes, and flying out!
Time to get back to GMC 2023!
If you see us stop us and say hello!
Love,
Bro Marshall

Last Wednesday we were in service with Pastor and Sis Carroll At Redeemer Pentecostal Church in Darlington SC, and we had a great service, and some great fellowship. We were able to stay there at the church from Wednesday to Friday. Just a heads up if anyone is planning on traveling from Indiana to South Carolina over the next few weeks give yourself some time. We hit 2 detours within our first 2-3 hours of traveling, and it ended up adding about 3 hours to our trip.
Sunday Morning
Calvary Pentecostal Church Asheboro NC
We have been here since Friday, and it has been awesome!
Shout out to Stacy and Jamie Garnett for the accommodations, and hospitality.
We had a great service here in Asheboro, and tomorrow we leave for Lexington South Carolina for our final scheduled deputation service for this term!
Sunday Evening
Pentecostal Lighthouse
Wilson NC Pastor Shawn Garnett and his wife Beth Garnett
We had a great service in Wilson, and got to see some great friends!
Paul and Shannon Macklin were in service with us at the Lighthouse. Brother Macklin is the World missions director for the district, and he goes to Brother Garnettâs Church. We had a great worship service and a great altar call! It was amazing to see our dear friends the Fontenots as well! They drove all the way down from Virginia to be in that service, and it was a huge blessing to see them!
It's time for us to focus on what God IS doing rather than focusing on yesterday!

Please go to the Morgan's Mission Website to apply for scholarships, or to donate to the mission to help someone else go on a trip, or to WMU.
All links on the site are live, and will give you real time updates on upcoming AYC Mission Trips, along with dates for WMU.

This weekâs episode was supposed to be recorded from the highest point in the Southern Hemisphere, Mount Wilhelm, or as the natives call it Mount William. Ezekiel, Joseph, and Daniel made it to the summit, but the altitude got to me with close to a mile of altitude over 5 miles of trail left. We had a great time, and some great fellowship! I also was able to interview Betty from Bettyâs Lodge who is very accommodating! We will be adding a short clip over the next four weeks! If anyone is looking for a friendly place while on the trail, Bettyâs is you place! You can visit their website at https://www.villagehuts.com now kick back with a cup of coffee, and enjoy a couple of updates, some time on the trail, and some soothing sounds of the waterfalls we were surrounded by.

Mic issues for the first minute. On Saturday we went to the Simbu Province to open Nununma Church for Pastor Lapun Yembe. Nununma Church is 58.4 miles from our headquarters according to GPS Kit, and it took us 2 Hours 23 minutes to get there! Our roads are a little rough to say the least! I am using GPS kit on iPhone to geotag each of our churches. We have over 55 licensed ministers, and some are in pretty secluded places, so I want to make sure to tag each one, so I know the miles, and the time it takes to get there. All I can say about what is going on right now isâŚWOW! During this conference we had 12 Baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, 1 filled with the Holy Ghost, and one Backslider come home! After talking to some of our Simbu Pastors I found that over the past 14 days there have been (not including the conference) 20 baptized in the name of Jesus Christ! So in the Simbu Province alone over the past 2 weeks there have been 30 souls baptized! There was also one reported healing at this conference! We had a great move of God during this conference, and are excited to accept the challenge from Andrew Yani, who Pastors Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Simbu who said, âThis year we have opened 2 churches in Simbu, so next year we need to open even more! There is no reason we canât open 5 in 2022!â Nununma Church was our second opening this year in the Simbu Province. Earlier this year we opened a church on the west side of Simbu! The church was Bungalingoo, where we had another great outpouring with 8 souls being baptized in Jesus Name! We also had our first ALJC PNG Evangelist department crusade/revival at Kal Mountain in the Western Highlands province this week! Our Evangelist Department Coordinator Matthew Peter is the Pastor at Kal Mountain Church, and came to me with a great idea. He said, âmy missionary, we have never had any department like this. Would it be okay if we had a service at my church for a practice run?â My answer wasâŚâOF COURSE!â During this revival we had our first Evangelist preach conviction down! You may have seen pictures of me and Charlie Gabriel on social media right before he left for the revival services. It is great to see the five fold ministry being activated in the nation of Papua New Guinea in the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ! We have more evangelist to be announced, but the coordinator is still working on his list. During this revival service 2 souls repented of their sins, and 2 souls were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of those sins! This brings our numbers from April 2021 - present 214 Repented of their sins 103 Water Baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins 75 filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance Revival isnât coming to PNG, Revival is here! Thank you Pastor Wylie Rhinehart for editing! I could only imagine how painful that would be. Trust me I have read it, and know that the Indiana comes out a lot! Thank you Bro. Robin Johnson, Pastor Jonathan Vazquez, Pastor Jeremy Lang, Pastor Nate Whitley, and Pastor Wylie Rheinhart for the forwards, and recommendations! We have a launch date of December 18, 2021 with the Kindle version available for preorder now! This book was written from my point of view to show that the road to being a missionary isnât always a nice road. It isnât always a highway, but normally a pretty rough backroad! This book is to encourage, equip, and help those feeling a call to ministry, and to show even though we try our best to steer our own lives and try to do our best for sometimes 22 years, that once we let go and give it to God he puts us in the place HE calls us within 9 months. God has taught me while on this road that I must trust and rely on Him and Him alone, and that he will guide my steps. The link for the preorder is live now, please click https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MP42H4N/ref=nodl_ The link for the paperback version will be available on 12/18/2021!

The reason we have decided to start this podcast, and all the other forms of digital media is simpleâŚ
We are trying to get away from the tradional newsletters that have been seen over the years that become repetitive.
We still plan on doing a quarterly newsletter for the time being, but eventually we would like a more âreal timeâ update for our supporters.
Newsletters cover a braod stroke of what is going on, by trying to squeeze a month, quarter, half, or even a year into one, one page letter.
with the podcast, blog, and social media avenues we can reach much more people on a more consistent basis.
The reason it is called coffee with the missionary, is because so often we fellowship, or even give a bible study over a cup of coffee. I have had many great conversations, with many great people just kicking back, and having a cup of coffee.
If during this podcast you hear me take a sip, or have a gulp of coffee, it is because I actually do set here with a cup of coffee while talking with you, and that is one of the ways that I guage the length, of the conversation.
If the coffee starts getting cold, more than likely the conversation is too! If it stays hot, or gets a refill we cover quite a bit more!
Just to break up the monotony I will be having at least one guest per month to talk about various things both here in PNG, and other paces in the world!
We are in no way trying to keep people from knowing what is going on here, and want to reach out to as many as we can. The newsletters we send are digital, and due to connectivity issues they are very hard to get laid out, and sent while we have good internet connections. With the podcast, blog, and social sites, I can type, record, and edit everything and then air drop it to my phone for uploads overnight, or whenever the signal is strong enough to send it.
One thing that helped make this decision is our last newsletter. It took me until the 21st of the month to finally get logged into mail chimp, and start it. After logged in I kept getting the âunable to save dataâ gray banner, and then even after I got everything typed out I was unable to add any type of media.
If you follow us on instagram you will see a photo of our car loaded down! We were able to get Everything we needed for the western highlands conference loaded on top and inside.
For those who donât know quite what a Nissan Patrol is, it is kind of like an oversized pathfinder. It has 3 seats in front, 3 in the middle, and 6 in the back! We have quite a bit of room, but how much can you fit inside?
Well we went to a church service one day with 14 people⌠but yesterday we pushed the limits!
How many people, and how much equipment will fit in a Patrol, or on the roof rack?
We had 5 people
2 x 5 ft PA Speakers
2 x 4 ft PA Speakers
1 x 9 channel Soundboard
1 x 6 channel Soundboard
50 lbs of flowers
1 x 66 key keyboard
5 x microphones
1 x 12 pc drumset
5 x microphone stands
1 x drummer stool
15 x plastic chairs
10 x audio cables
1 x acoustic guitar

Trick or treat! When said by children, these three words bring back a flood of childhood memories to most adults. Memories of masquerading as vampires, haunted houses, ghosts, witches, ghouls, monsters, and bags of candy.
Memories of canvassing the neighborhood, going door to door, shouting those three little words, and watching their bags fill up with all sorts of candies, apples, nuts and other goodies. Memories of parades, parties and playing âtricks,â like soaping the neighborsâ windows, âdecoratingâ their trees with toilet tissue, or playing âbaseballâ with their roadside mailboxes. Yes, hearing the words âtrick or treatâ from little children can cause adults to wish they were kids again. âAfter all,â one might reason, âwhatâs so wrong with Halloween anyway?â So letâs dive in, and look at the history behind the mask. #TrickOrTreat #Medieval #Druid #BoneFire #LeVay #Sorcery #Witchcraft #Ghost #Gouls #Witches #TruthBehindTheMask #HistoryOfHalloween #Halloween #Evil #Truth #Apostolic #Christian #CoffeeWithTheMissionary #WhyWeDontCelebrateHalloween #Pagan

âHave you ever walked in our Pastor's shoes, And gone where his feet have trod? Have you ever thought of what he means to us, And on your knees, given thanks to God? Have you ever told him thank you, For being there, when times are tough, For comforting words and fervent prayers When trials come and the storms of life are rough? He answers our calls in the middle of the night And tells us not to worry, for he will be there. He gives up his comfort of quiet rest And comes with prayers of comfort to share. Have you ever thought to say thank you Pastor, For preaching God's word to help us understand, For all the times he has asked for things That will lend us a helping hand? When you pray, put him at the top of the list And ask the Lord to surround him with loving care, To give him strength and walk with him, To help him with the burdens that he must bear. Have you ever walked in our Pastor's shoes, And gone where his feet have trod? Have you ever thought of what he means to us, And on your knees, given thanks to God?â A Pastor Appreciation Poem by Judy Crowe Weâve had a crazy week!!
