In this podcast we will discuss the reasons for belief in Intelligent Design and, in the future, why we believe that designer is the God of the Bible. Why? We are told to be ready with a defense for what we believe.
This episode we begin to examine bones of the human type. We focus on whether or not Homo neanderthalensis (Neanderthal) is a variant of Homo sapiens or its own species. Was the Neanderthal a dumb brute, or did it possess intelligence? We also explore the definition of "species."
This week we discuss the theory of evolution, the field of paleoanthropology, and some of the terminology used. We also discuss some expert opinions within the field.
Did you know that Carbon-14 dating is better at showing us how young things are than showing us how old they are?

Last week we looked at some common dating methods. This week we continue by examining some other popular methods. Uranium-Thorium and Uranium-Lead to be specific. Are these any more reliable that the Potassium-Argon methods? Let's find out!
We are examining one of the major methods for dating hominin (human) bones. Most, if not all, of the material for this was taken from material written by Christopher Rupe and Dr. John Sanford of the Institute For Creation Research. I highly recommend their book, "Contested Bones."
