Roughly 3 years ago, I was working in a different state from wifey, nearly 10 hours apart. We were supposed to have moved together but some things came up and we had to settle with staying apart at least for the time being.

I left her heavily pregnant and hoped to work my way back as soon as possible, considering my dislike for protracted family separation.

As a single man I created a rift between myself and a certain female friend of mine because I said things I did not really mean and was not ready to live up to.
