BELIEVE AND BE BRAVE
AS YOU BEHOLD TO BECOME BE A BLESSIING
Can you come into my dreams And wipe the tears from my eyes. And hold my face in your hands. and whisper, "it's going to be all right".
I love you and we will soon be together again SOMEDAY.
I am the God of the least, the last, the lost and the broken. I am the God of the past, the future, and the present. I am the God who has chosen to love you with my birth that I may be one with you and by my death that I might save you.
When the wounds from the beatings have left you battered and uninspired,
When the stumbles and detours have left you confused and tired,
When the world is filled with evil, chaos, and havoc,
Pray for those who have caused you to hurt and suffer.
Pray for those who have caused you to pray and ponder.
Pray for those who have caused you to be humble.
Pray for those who have caused your faith to become stronger.
Pray for those who have caused God's love within you to become real.
Pray and you will find God always with you everyday, in every minute and hour.
Because when you take my heart, I know that I will find my way. Just speak your words and I will find courage to carry on and reason to hold on and stay. When you are by my side, I will catch the breeze and soar to the sky. As the day shifts to silence, I will count the stars and see your smile. Between the breath of each quiescent sigh, I shall find my rest. I shall be with you. I shall find true love nestled in life’s caress.
Even the moon sleeps.
And why shouldn’t it find time for it?
It does its work when the world falls into slumber deep.
It shares its radiance at night when the sun sets and light recedes.
After the work is compleat, it slowly fades and finds time to rest and sleep.
Such is the requisite for those of us who live. We find meaning when we share and give.
When we allow ourselves to rest and sleep, we are able to continue to love and live.
Give all I can and to be the best with my heart and hands, for today is all I have and tomorrow may never come again.
Choose to be good. Choose to be kind.
Choose to be with God in hope and faith.
Choose the peace of love and not despair and hate.
These, in humble praise, I seek in the sanctity of your solace.
These, in thanksgiving, I receive the grace of your embrace.
When we gather and lift each other’s hands, we proclaim in our hearts that we are one. One in love and service to God’s people. We are the blessed chosen people of God.
When we give and share the work of our hands, we are certain that He is present in our land. His spirit will lead us always to His Son. We are the blessed chosen people of God.
When we sing and proclaim the Hope in our hearts, we bring peace and will trust in His plans. He is God, almighty and our God of love. We are the blessed chosen people of God.
We are blessed. We are the chosen. We are all children of God.
Consider how things were when we started and then reflect on how things are today. All these lead us to a deeper sense of who we are and why we persist and prosper. Therein lies the hope of a future filled with gratitude, humility, and assurance of God’s abundant love and providence of grace.
Life beyond death. Love beyond the gates. Kindness that transcends hate. What lies beyond your leap of faith?
It takes a step, a limp, and a gait to traverse the unexplored spaces and existential wait. You summon the courage and take that step, to defy fate and let no one or circumstance dictate.
A choice no one but you must make. For when the time comes, you will realize that this sacrifice you alone must make. You can not pass it on. There is no one to blame. There is no one you can depend on.
For this path you have chosen and its consequential outcome is a journey you take alone. It is a quest and a crusade that you must claim and own.
We sing of the treasures no mortal hands could make and no human eyes have seen.
We realize that the blessing of His gifts is the gift of blessings from all we have received.
When no one was there. When no one seemed to care. Now I know. Thank you for always being there.
The struggle and the effort for what was lost and what was acquired. The value of life stretched across milestones of victories and failures. All remembered with respect and appreciation.
When I close my eyes and listen to the silence. May I find your presence. May I find the courage to rise again.
Perhaps if we measured time in days, hours, and minutes, we might be able to discover the grace and peace of every loving moment.
There is hope that heals and prospers to all who believe; to all who are here. As we gather in our hearts on mornings like this.
Let tomorrow come. Let our hearts be united as one in the partaking of bread and wine. And in the glory of what is to come, we can behold and become.
When you lose memory space because you didn’t flush the useless trash you pick up each day.
Here we are looking for the way back home, lost and tired from the struggle of our journey's travels.
How should you respond when the opportunity for growth, inner strength and kindness approaches?
There, in the stillness of your presence and gaze. I stood and pondered. And I have found my place.
Bless me as I contemplate all that was, that is and yet to be. All that I can be as we sit here and reminisce.
For when the world’s greatest needs meet our heart’s deepest desire, that is when our God truly exists.
A series of readings and reflections on our journey of faith. A reminder to always Believe and Be Brave.
In preparation for Christmas, the season of advent invites us all to reflect on the coming and birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the embodiment of the promise of God to us that a Savior shall come and lead us all back to Him. We wait and prepare for His coming by examining our lives and opening our hearts to the light of His coming. For unto us is born a child, A child who is the Son of God - Emmanuel". Let us therefore rejoice and be glad for the promise has been fulfilled. Let us by our works and words; through our hearts and minds show to all the joy that comes from our belief that we are unconditionally loved, and all our trials and tribulations shall pass for our God is with us and reigns on Heaven and on Earth.
