This round I am going to share my view for a common query by most of the farmers out there.
As part of our marketing effort, we manage to draw attention of end user about the importance of having their fertilisers, plant tissue or soil tested by the lab. However most of them still don't know why it is advisable to do so.
From a recent webinar I attended on digital agriculture and smart farming, I learnt that in Malaysia, about 95% of small holder or farmers don't have access to this knowledge or facilities.
This is because most of the time only researcher, producer or manufacturer send their samples for lab test, as these group of users have better resources to access this kind of facility.

By definition, Nanotechnology is the exploitation of materials at the nanoscale [1-100 nm in any dimension].
Nanotechnology can be leveraged in developing novel fertilisers to enhance agricultural productivity. It is proposed that the delivery of mineral nutrients in nano form is predicted to have a number of beneficial features. Including timing of nutrient release, sustained release of nutrients.

CEC: an indicator how well soil can hold cation or nutrient. This can be assessed via lab test. Listen up for the definition of CEC. If a soil with low CEC, then nutrient prone to leach out, and hence we have to practice broad cast and apply few rounds.
