Within 20 days, he is an expert and has started to experiment with the taste and texture of the unique product. Customers are loving this thin, crispy and flavoured product that the young boy is selling at a premium price. But while he is envisioning to give his brand a royal feeling, his family is crippling. After being separated from them, he is left with no money. But with some financial help from a friend and his own unrelenting passion, Haldiram builds his business back up.

By the 1940s, Haldiram was running a successful bhujia business. But a tempting opportunity to expand to Kolkata comes knocking in. The newer generation of the family is ambitious but has its own and differing ways of thinking. Personal ambitions and interests start kicking in as they separately start expanding the family business to Maharashtra and Delhi.
