Kena and I continue our discussion around loss and grief - Kena grieves the loss of her husband and also the story in her head of how life is supposed to go. Does she want to be a widow or a vibrant 38-year old woman? This sparks our discussion around death and how Kena’s first hand experience with it motivates her choices for living. We also get into how we’re born with a magic or spirit that is always within us but we agree that our culture stifles it and we both share a strong desire to protect this magic in our kids.
