Have you ever been confused by how to use the verb "to get"? You hear it all the time in movies, TV shows, and casual conversations and you can usually understand what people are trying to say... but the real question is: Do you know how to use it?

Most of the time, we use "get" in three ways:

1. As: to obtain or to receive: "Can you get me a drink?"
2. To talk about changes of state: "It's getting dark." / It's getting cold."
3. To cause something to happen: "I'm getting my computer fixed."/ "They got him to talk to them."
