PRINCIPLE OF THE DAY

Participation trophies have caused society to lose focus on actually competing. More importantly losing. We have to do the work in order to win, but if everyone gets a trophy for just signing up then valuable lessons are being lost.

QUESTION OF THE DAY

Where across the core 4 (Body, Being, Balance, Business) are you finding yourself that you do show up so you expect a trophy? I can’t tell you how many times I felt like I was doing my job as a husband by providing and not really playing the game of building a stronger relationship…..only to find out that we don’t get participation trophies in marriage. You win or you lose that day / week / month / year / relationship

TASK OF THE DAY

Write in your journal two areas you have been showing up just expecting a participation trophy instead of actually playing the game as a win/lose scenario for that day
