Dr Laura Hottenrott is a sports scientist, nutritional researcher and professional athlete. She is currently completing her Doctorate at the Bochum University in Germany, focussing on Recovery in Endurance Sports. Prior to commencing her PhD, Laura did her Master of Science at the German Sport University in Cologne, where her focus was on Sports Nutrition.As well as being an accomplished scientist, Laura is also a world class long-distance runner. She has won numerous athletic accolades, including placing 8th in the 2018 Sevilla Marathon (Spain) and winning 1st place in the New Year's Eve run from Werl to Soest in Germany three times.
