Two-thirds of the Postal Service’s rural letter carriers are having their pay cut. A new pay system has been in the works between Postal management and union officials for more than a decade. But rural carriers say the Postal Service hasn’t given them or their managers adequate training on the new system, and that they stand to lose thousands of dollars a year in pay.
