Israel is just coming off of an incredible victory over Jericho. It is clear that their God is with them. In chapter 7, we immediately see a difference. "But the people of Israel broke faith in regard to the devoted things, for Achan the son of Carmi, son of Zabdi, son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of the devoted things. And the anger of the Lord burned against the people of Israel" (7:1). Open up your Bible and study the rest of Joshua 7 with us as we look at the consequences of Achan's Sin.
