This week on OTP we catch up with former Blue Jays closer BJ Ryan. BJ came to town on what was, at the time, the largest contract ever for an MLB closer. Despite 2 solid years including an Allstar appearance in 2006, BJs time with the Jays was a tumultuous one, that also saw the end of his MLB career. We talk with BJ about his whirlwind career, starting off as a lefty specialist and ending up as one of the most elite closers in the game. We talk about some legendary teammates, some disappointing team results and a pretty heartbreaking end to his career.
