For centuries, there was a prophetic silence. It's broken in Matthew Chapter 3 verse 1. In those days, John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea. So after 400 years of this prophetic silence, the first word that God chooses to speak to break the long silence is what? Not how I've missed you, it's been a while. Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!
So, we need to step off the throne of our lives and bow down at the feet of the King of Kings. We repent of our pride. I'm sorry. For attempting to overthrow your role in my life, God. Today I challenge all of us with that. To swear allegiance to the King of Kings. King Jesus.
