In mid July 2015 police were called to a woman’s house in West Virginia. When they arrived they were met with a hysterical woman outside saying she had fought off a man who attacked her inside her home.

When police went inside they found the body of a man in the living room. He had been shot once and was dead at the scene.

While piecing the events of the day together police quickly realized that the man had come to this woman’s house with the intention of killing her. They found evidence in his car that the attack was well planned out. And the way the woman recounted the story, it was clear this was not his first attack.

This week we will discuss what happened on that July afternoon, who the man was, and the possible scope of his crimes.
