Marilyn Bergeron, 24, left her family’s Quebec City home on the morning of February 17, 2008, for a walk and did not return. She was recorded on an ATM camera in Loretteville and last seen at a coffee shop in Saint-Romuald that afternoon. Despite numerous unconfirmed sightings, including in Ontario, Quebec City police theorize she may have committed suicide, while her family suspects foul play and has offered a reward for information. In 2017, a friend revealed that she had become increasingly fearful and reclusive before her disappearance.
