Jesus is doing for us what he is asking us to do. As he calls us to show mercy, he is showing us mercy. As he is calling us to do good, he is working good for us. As he is calling us to restore what is broken around us, he is restoring what’s broken in us. The Easy Life is marked by living in response to what Jesus has done (and is doing) in us and for us.
