Happy Labor Day to those who celebrate. To those that are overseas, I hope you have a good one today.

I’m up at 2:30 in the morning waiting for the air to cool down enough to open the big garage door and grab some more of the things from the vehicle. I also need to whack some totes out in the van, as they are going to be donated back to the thrift store I’ve been rummaging at.

They have been kind and generous with me, and I want to return the favor.

Now for the fun part, getting the things in the garbage bin that don’t work well enough to be useful. I also need to move that sewing staion to the front of the garage and move the non sewing items to the back.

I want to get this done before the heat takes over again today, so I’d best get busy. I’ve somewhat recovered from the too much activity days. We’ll see how it goes.

The high today is in the upper 90’s with dangerous humidity levels. That’s why I’m still up, and still busy. I also have to finish setting up the mini kitchen. I want to make this a comfortable place to be.

We’ll see how much I can get done with pain levels where they are.

On a personal note. I’ve been doing the nursing home version of daily prep. I do a morning basin wash, similar to what our ancestors did when they heated water up on a wood stove for a bath. This stretches the times between jumping in the shower, as I can’t lift my right arm over my head anymore.

I’m really clean though, so I no longer worry about going out in public on non-shower days. Getting old is a bitch. I know. Meanwhile, I also have to fold the clothes. I did a load of laundry tonight.

Take care my friends, I will keep you updated on the mayhem. Hugs, -L
