Boy oh boy that Nicodemus was something else! He knew Jesus was the Messiah yet he was "careful" not be seen in His presence in public, that is, during the day (John 3:1)! You see, Nicodemus was a member of the Jewish Council, the group that was sent by the Pharisees to invesigate John the Baptist. Nicodemus "knew" the truth (that Jesus was the Messiah) but was covering his bases by placating Jesus with his night visits while maintaining his close association with the Pharisees during the day! One foot in and one foot out; you know how we do it! Are you one who identifies with Christ when no one else is around?  Is He the "convenient truth?" On tonights "Uncut" we are going to "pull the covers" off of the Nicodemus spirit that has engulfed the modern day church, help you to identify the symptoms and give you a prescription for change.  We will once again be wrestling the 800 pound gorilla in the room!
