We wrote this song one night, completely off the cuff – it came together very organically. I (Gem) originally started writing these lyrics with a misogynist predator in mind, who is lurking in the night, preying on the virtuous. But the song has taken on a whole different dimension now, and so although that’s still what I see when I sing the song, the song also relates to a certain cultural cold war that is going on right now, which is quite disturbing. We live in ‘strange’ times and I guess the song reflects this. But at the same time, it explores the inner conflict within us all about the desire to be good and pure versus the desire to let it all go and have a good time – virtue and vice: a constant inner conflict for us Banquets.

About the Music
Signal Static asks the question; what does it mean to be Human? And, more importantly, what does it mean to be a good Human? Drawing inspiration from artists such as Chevelle, Tool, Muse, Queens of the Stoneage, and Pendulum, Signal Static combines hard rock, punk, and alternative with elements of metal, grunge and electronic music to create an intensely fresh and emotionally compelling sound.Signal Static’s songs express equal parts personal introspection and social commentary, hunting for the underlying meaning in current events, exploring the modern world through the minds of the characters who inhabit it, and delving into the struggles and victories that shape the human experience.Signal Static's music emphasizes honesty, openness, and humanity in the face of uncertain circumstances. Guitarist Cristina Canas and Niewinski founded the band, later adding bassist Tanya Nicklaus and drummer Elie Bertrand to the lineup. Scarlet Sins received critical acclaim for their live shows, known for their high energy and intensity. They opened for national acts such as Motley Crue, Buckcherry, Anvil, and April Wine. Scarlet Sins appeared four times on the shortlist for the 51st Grammy Awards. The band disbanded in 2009, but they reunited in 2019 for a series of shows. The album seeks to communicate my ethos to the listener through an exploration of my personal experiences. This time around, I chose to experiment with a completely different sound--American roots music. I wanted to show that "black music" includes traditional Americana music. Thematically, the album wrestles with self identity, culture, community, relationships, adversity and perseverance. The term "son of a sharecropper" as used in the album's title is a reference to my being a descendant of black American sharecroppers in Colerain, North Carolina.

Every once in a while there comes along a band that is so different or unique, you would think they were dropped on Earth from another planet. Pyramids on Mars is one of those bands. It is the solo project of guitarist Kevin Estrella. He wanted to do something musically different that would stand out from the crowd. And - it stands out!
What first catches you is that they are an instrumental band. A combination of elements such as rock, hard rock, industrial, metal. And then… the lead guitar comes soaring in. Well crafted, beautiful, melodic phrases so catchy and memorable they will be stuck in your head the rest of the day. The guitar has become the “vocals” of the music.
Join us with Kevin. Kevin exposes the extraterrestrial influences that pair with his music visions and the path of developing the amazing COSMIC ANGELS album released in May of this year.

Shay About the Band Tracksuit is an indie-rock band based out of Chapel Hill, NC. The band is made up of songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Brendan Rice, bassist Tyler Harrington and drummer Marcus Johnson. Tracksuit utilizes an array of musical styles, layered production and expressive baritone vocals to create its memorable and inviting sound. The political rocker, “Ghost of Rome” is released 8/5/22 and follows the critically acclaimed release of “Area #51”, as the second single off of the band's full length album, Hidden Worlds.
Taking inspiration from artists like the Clash and Neil Young, “Ghost of Rome” is a snide, political rocker that takes aim at the corruption of the current American political and legal systems and the erosion of American civil institutions and liberties in the name of good old Capitalism.

Shay 🤘🏻🎶 From the Artist At just four years old, Alvarado started writing songs. Her passion for songwriting only comes second to her love for God. As a teenager, she began leading worship in her church and felt a call to ministry. Her first single “Relentlessly” was released in 2015 followed by her first Christian album "Hello Life" that consisted of 13 original songs.
She returned to her country roots with her single “I Break Things” that was released in early 2020. She released four additional singles during 2020. She has a passion for recovery ministry and wants to help give a voice to the voiceless through music.
Her first EP project titled ''Playing with Fire'' was released in April 2021. She is currently working on a country pop album titled “Songbird” that will be released in Summer 2022. “Songbird” is a two part collection of songs that shows Jennifer’s growth as a writer and is sonically much different than her earlier projects. Her second single from the “Songbird” project, titled ‘’Rock This Way," will be released in June 2022. Her music has a country sensibility with a pop current running through it. Her voice is smooth and passionate with a sweetness and power that merge seamlessly into satisfaction for the listener. Her sound is a mixture of country, pop and blues that reflect an eclectic blend of influences.
She has been recognized locally for her songwriting and was named ''One to Watch'' by Nashville Songwriters Association in Spring 2021 and Spring 2022. Her songs “IDWYB” and “Filthy Water” were Top 10 Finalists for “Best Pop Song” and “Best Modern Country Song” for the Spring and Summer 2021 World Songwriting Awards. She was just recently named the “2021 Country Artist of the Year” by Indie Star Radio. Her song “Curious” was a Finalist for "Best Pop Song" for the Winter 2022 World Songwriting Awards and won "Best Pop Song" for the Indie Songwriting Awards in Winter 2022. Her song “Rock This Way” was just named “Best Pop Song” and “Best Overall Song” by the Indie Songwriting Awards in Spring 2022. She is currently nominated for five International Singer Songwriter Association Awards, including “Female Vocalist of the Year”, a Josie Award for Female Music Video of the Year for “Filthy Water”, and a Carolina Music Award for Country Female Vocalist of the Year. ~ Dr. Joe, President Natchyo' Grandma's Blues Network Bio Provided by the Artist Nathan is a young blues guitarist from the heart of North Carolina. He received his first guitar at the age of 2 and was teaching himself to play by the age of 7. He gives credit to his Grandmother, Doris Powell, for her inspiration and love of music.
Nathan spent years going to blues jams where he honed his craft under the mentoring of some of the area's finest musicians. Now at 18, Nathan has been performing at festivals and venues across the state with a band of his own for almost 6 years and has even been featured in NC's renowned Our State Magazine as a blues guitar prodigy. For several summers Nathan ventured to Clarksdale, Mississippi for the Pinetop Perkins Foundation Workshop where he studied under the likes of Bob Margolin, Jonn Del Toro Richardson, Victor Wainwright, and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram.
In 2016 he represented the Triangle Blues Society in the Youth Showcase at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2018 the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society honored him with their Mike Carr Junior Bluesman of the Year Award. He also released his first CD, I'm Not Alone, in 2018 which showcases his blues-rock roots. Now in 2021, Nathan has received the tremendous honor of being selected as the 1st place winner of the top 10 guitarists under the age of 20 in the world by the Dallas International Guitar Show. "i love DANGER" is one of the first songs we wrote for littleDNGR and it all came together in less than an hour. The lyrics, the basic production, everything. Like it was just waiting for us to acknowledge it and bring it to life.
This band was born as a response to us feeling a little burnt out from writing and producing music for, what felt like, everybody but ourselves. We felt a little bit crazy cause things were going very well, but we knew we needed to do something dangerous. We needed to bet on the house, even if it meant the house could come crashing down. So we channeled all of our creative frustration into this "Bonnie & Clyde" kind of love song. When we wrote "trade the cross for a sword" that was about us taking ownership of our creativity and hanging on to each other as we jump off the proverbial cliff.
We had planned for "i love DNGR" to be our first release, then the pandemic hit and the energy of this song didn't feel right for the times. We released "Brand New World" in July 2020, but it was such a frustrating process. We couldn't really leave the house to support the release, live shows were impossible. As the lockdowns continued and the future became increasingly uncertain, we decided to focus on writing and recording more material until it felt right to start releasing music again. Here we are, two whole years later and we are so stoked to finally share what we've been working on. We've got a ton of new music that we plan to release over the coming months and "i love DANGER" is just the beginning.

Shay From the Artist Davie Furey released his album, Haunted Streets, in Feb. 2021 to much critical acclaim. The album has been described as “a masterclass in songwriting and musicianship” and has seen its four singles hitting #1 on the Irish Singer-Songwriter charts. With Haunted Streets, Furey and producer/multi-instrumentalist Martin Quinn have done a wonderful job surrounding the singer/songwriter’s compelling tunes with dynamic, electric arrangements as well as talented musicians who sound like they’ve been playing with Furey for years. Haunted Streets’ 11 tracks defy easy categorization, with songs ranging from fiery rockers (“Fire and Gold” and “The Final Frontier”) to the tender piano ballad “Farewell Returning Blues” and boisterous, horn-fueled “Spaces Full.” His music suggests an Irish twist on Americana music; something like Steve Earle or John Hiatt might have sounded liked had they been born in Dublin. Over the past few years, he has been a Pure M Awards nominee in the Best Newcomer, Best Male Artist, and Best Irish Solo Act categories and nominated as Folk Artist of the Year for 2021’s Hot Press Irish Music Awards. Furey’s 2015 debut Easy Come, Easy Go was well-received and garnered high praise from the likes of Christy Moore (“a fine, fine record”), Donovan ("An excellent piece of work”), Luka Bloom (“Davie sings from the heart and has the voice of a poet") and Jeremy Irons (“I love this album”). Furey cites Earle, along with Dylan, Springsteen, and Prine, among musicians he admires. Encouraged by Irish musicians like Bloom and Moore, he worked hard to develop his own voice that showcases his Irish heritage. For the Haunted Streets sessions, Furey and Quinn assembled an all-star lineup of Irish musicians: fiddlers Steve Wickham (The Waterboys), guitarist Francie Conway, keyboardist Darren Holden (The High Kings), banjoist Robbie Campion (Drops of Green), vocalists ELLYD and Susan O’Neill, and drummer Andrew Quinn. Furey finished Haunted Streets just as the Covid pandemic put everything on hold. A new creative outlet in 2020 was starting a podcast, The Green Wave, where he interviews
some of Ireland’s top musicians and writers. In February of 2021, Furey decided the time was right to release Haunted Streets in the U.K. and Ireland, and the album will be released in the U.S. on July 9th.

Shay From the Artist There must be something in the water down under, because here comes another amazing Aussie making waves here in the US. In 2016 Ralphy made a huge splash in the LA scene with her single ‘Lover’, the passionate forerunner to her debut album ‘PeaceLover’. Since then she’s received an overwhelming response to her heart-pounding music and electric live performances, taking LA by storm as an independent pop sensation. While her simmering, sultry singing is the most striking Ralphy quality, what this stage siren has really become most widely known for is her incredible live shows. With their dynamic choreography and high-fashion dance aesthetic, Ralphy captures the true meaning of performance, elevating her audience into a beautiful space of love, freedom, and expression. As a proud advocate of equal rights and an ardent supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, this is what Ralphy’s all about: “I just want the world to remember gratitude and how good it feels to be in the moment, have fun, and respect each other. We are all so lucky to have this thing called life and we owe it to ourselves to live it with LOVE.”
Ralphy never breaks her stride: after a whirlwind two years performing at quintessential Los Angeles venues, including the Hotel Café main room, the Viper Room, Rage, The Rose, The Mint, El Cid, and more, 2019 was a prolific recording year. Things kicked things off with the release of her hotly anticipated single ‘Hesitate’, a slick R&B number that was a stylistic departure from her previously more disco-inspired grooves, which was followed by ‘Stones’, a smoldering collaboration with Brazilian pop singer Tiago and LA R&B singer Justin Green. Ralphy then rounded out the season with the release of ‘Can’t Sleep’, her darkest track yet, with its moody, ‘80s new wave feel.
Despite the unprecedented global social climate of the following year, 2020 marked the release of still more singles: the emotional ‘Confess’ and up-and-at-‘em ‘Dancing on a HeartBreak’. Not only did she continue to deliver heartfelt, high-energy hits, but she did one better: Ralphy performed in a number of live virtual shows, proving that her captivating performances translate across mediums.
This year saw Ralphy’s return to the stage with her first in-person show post-pandemic, her Out From Under concert. This triumphant, electrifying return marked the start of more great things to come from this artist, including remixes of her most recent singles, plus an acoustic version of Confess, and more. Staking out a wide territory in the classic rock genre, with a sensibility that only time could bring to their music, the songs are a blend of the social commentary of Steve Earl combined with the wry humor of Warren Zevon. "Self-Made Man" is a hard-hitting protest song borne out of the "99" movement.
Their mighty, crunchy guitar riffs together with their pummeling rhythmic textures and dynamic edgy vocals are laced with old school elements while still maintaining the focus of a modern band.
In early 2017, RH2 caught the attention of legendary recording engineer/producer Paul Laine (Poison; Scorpions; Defiant; Danger Danger). Laine became a fan and was even more impressed by the demos of new material the guys were working on. Upon hearing these songs, he immediately offered to produce their album.
The band entered the studio with Laine in the fall of 2017, and Yuk Fu was released in September 2018. The response to the album has exceeded the band’s wildest expectations. The album has received national and international attention with radio stations in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
RH2’s (released under band name Rebel Heart) Yuk Fu is available on their website iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and most majors streaming services.
