This week, I'm interviewing my colleague and friend Dr Jo Braid, The Burnout Recovery Doctor.
Dr Braid is a fellow physician, coach, and mom. She provides inspirational keynotes as well as group and individual coaching. Dr Braid is dedicated to helping doctors overcome burnout, find greater joy and fulfilment, and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
In this episode, Dr Braid shares from the heart about her own experience of recovering from burnout. If you're a working mom who is overwhelmed by trying to take care of everyone else, you will definitely relate to her story. We talk about taking time for rest (even when if feels like you don't have time for it), signs that may indicate you are burned out, the way gender roles impact our risk for burnout, and more!
I always enjoy my conversations with Jo, and I hope you get as much from this chat as I did.
