She recently received her master's degree in investigative and data journalism at the University of Missouri. Before working at USA TODAY as a climate fact-check fellow, Eleanor worked at the Courier Journal as a news intern.Connor Giffin is an environmental reporter for The Courier Journal and a corps member with Report for America, a national service program that places journalists in local newsrooms to report on under-covered issues.
