Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 2:10-12 NKJV - You are witnesses, and God also, how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you who believe; as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.Bible App Bible Plan: http://bible.us/r/BQRAlbum: https://music.apple.com/us/album/chae-cole-pk-present-overtime/1696330918 https://open.spotify.com/album/7vtbisskhZzqvKydodd0oo?si=O2eqhspWT_2g0wOGv4Pn4Q Host: Chae Cole Instagram: @Coletherapy Tik Tok: @Coletherapy Email: therapycole@gmail.com

In this episode, Host Chae Cole encourages listeners to support the Body of Christ in a hypercritical society and be sensitive to the grace that rests on men and women of God.Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:20-26 NKJV - But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.Bible App Bible Plan: http://bible.us/r/BQRAlbum: https://music.apple.com/us/album/chae-cole-pk-present-overtime/1696330918 https://open.spotify.com/album/7vtbisskhZzqvKydodd0oo?si=O2eqhspWT_2g0wOGv4Pn4Q Host: Chae Cole Instagram: @Coletherapy Tik Tok: @Coletherapy Email: therapycole@gmail.com--- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/coletherapy/support

In this episode, Host Chae Cole encourages listeners, as stewards of the mysteries of God, to be found faithful, as Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians.Scripture: 1 Corinthians 4:1-5 NKJV - Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.Bible App Bible Plan: http://bible.us/r/BQRAlbum: https://music.apple.com/us/album/chae-cole-pk-present-overtime/1696330918 https://open.spotify.com/album/7vtbisskhZzqvKydodd0oo?si=O2eqhspWT_2g0wOGv4Pn4Q Host: Chae Cole Instagram: @Coletherapy Tik Tok: @Coletherapy Email: therapycole@gmail.com

In this episode, Host Chae Cole encourages listeners to remember that worship is a lifestyle, not a music genre or a specific segment in a church service. Instead, as believers we are to live our lives as worship to God.

Scripture: John 4:19-24 NKJV - The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

In this episode, Host Chae Cole encourages listeners to evaluate the platforms and people they receive from. With the abundance of Christian media in the world, not every source is reliable. Therefore, believers must be vigilant to distinguish the real from the fake.

Scripture: 2 Peter 2:1-3 AMP - But [in those days] false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will subtly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways, and because of them the way of truth will be maligned. And in their greed they will exploit you with false arguments and twisted doctrine. Their sentence [of condemnation which God has decreed] from a time long ago is not idle [but is still in force], and their destruction and deepening misery is not asleep [but is on its way].

In this episode, Host Chae Cole encourages listeners to evaluate some things that may hinder their relationship with God. Some of the things we have carried with us in our journey with Christ prevent us from experiencing God's best. We must evaluate those things and understand why we like what we do and what God actually desires for us.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:11 NKJV - “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”

In this episode, Host Chae Cole encourages listeners to consider the purity of their motives in their pursuit of Christ. Sometimes, we tend to only worship God for the benefits of God and not because He is God. It's important that we keep our relationship with God pure and free from perverted motives.

Scripture: Matthew 6:5-6 NKJV - “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”

In this episode, Host Chae Cole shares tips for navigating the current climate in society by suggesting we (believers and unbelievers) need a revelation of Christ, just as Peter experienced in Matthew 16. He suggests that it is through a revelation that we not only reach those who may be far from Him but also that they come into the knowledge of who He is.

Scripture: Matthew 16:15-17 NKJV -15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

On this Episode, Chae provides us with some tips on how we can make the necessary adjustments to accomplish our goals. By understanding what causes us to miss our deadlines, Chae encourages us to push deeper and be okay with reprioritizing, refocusing, and rededicating ourselves to achieving our goals. It is important that we do this and trust God's timing in everything that we do. While it is okay to miss a deadline, it is not okay to make excuses on why we did not achieve our goals. Rather than make excuses we should make the necessary adjustments.

On this episode we build upon the 2020 vision from Episode 1. Host Chae Cole goes over SMART Goals and how to create them. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Bound. Using this framework, we can set goals that stretch us but also help us refine what we placed on our vision boards, the goals we set for the new year, etc.

Additionally, Chae encourages listeners to  operate their lives and goals like a business. In order to do this, listeners are encouraged to break their goals into quarterly chunks. This will allow bigger goals to be broken down and seem less intimidating. It also allows us to assign tentative dates to the things that we want to accomplish. By assigning a date (Quarter) to our goals, it gives us something to work toward each quarter to ensure that we achieve our goals.

With 2020 weeks away, it is important that we consider what we want to accomplish in new year. In this episode we ask ourselves three central questions about previous years. What did I do well? What opportunities for improvement exist? What changes will I make? We will take a look at these three questions from five different perspectives: Physically, Mentally, Financially, Professionally, and Spiritually.

This episode serves to get you thinking critically about what you have done in these areas in the past and how you can improve in 2020. You can think of this episode as a sort of performance review or even a vision board for 2020. This episode is the backbone of the season as we will build upon the vision of 2020 each week.

Episode Scripture: Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV- Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. 3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
