Smurf and Smurfette are Age Group Triathletes, juggling their professional careers as an Educational Leader and a Doctor with Ironman Triathlon training. This week, we discuss being an athlete and dealing with COVID-19. It is a difficult time for us all, however, with the right mindset, it can be seen as an opportunity for athletes and triathletes. We cover;

Smurfette and her role as a doctor on the frontline of COVID-19
Strategies for getting through this time as a triathlete
With the cancellation or postponement of races, looking at a shift in goals to maintain motivation
Identifying your lesser strengths and using this opportunity to work on them
Whether it's Zwift, HIIT or something else, try something new
Taking time to rest and recover
Using this chance to build new positive routines
Having a positive mindset, being grateful for what we do have and being realistic. Triathlon will always be there later!
