  • Why is the word of God dishonored when the wife is not virtuous? Are these virtues still required?(v.5)
  • Who is the opponent? (v.8)
  • Why would a master adorn the doctrine of God just because of a virtuous slave? (v.10)
  • Why would Paul mention the resurrection (does he?) in the context of a virtuous lifestyle? (v.13)
  • Does Titus call Jesus “God?” (v.13)
  • Application: What did it look like then, and what does it look like now to be zealous for good deeds? (v.14) Are the good deeds done primarily as individuals or as a group (i.e. the “people” of His possession)? Are the deeds aimed primarily at unbelievers or believers?
  • Does Paul anticipate kickback from some? (v.15)
