Sowing Forgiveness

even though, you helped me plant the wrong seeds, we had to know,

they would fervently grow one day, to our dismay, becoming stronger,

but, still, I knew, I’d have to forgive you, as well as me too, no hatred

making mistakes is easy, just try fixing, no one can fake an amends

the darkness between us had to find the light, damn the demons,

the likeness of Christ Jesus could now be seen - beyond the shadow’s doubt
