Lavigo Round Mechanical Countdown Timer, Classroom Visual Timer, Kitchen Timer with Magnet, 60 Minutes Max for Teacher Teaching , Kids Daily Use, Adult Cooking Baking Office Meeting (6 Inch)

Learn about one of my favorite ways to get things done when I don't feel like starting.

https://todoist.com/productivity-methods/pomodoro-technique

How to do the Pomodoro Method:

  1. Pick a task

  2. Work for 25 minutes

  3. Take a 5-minute break

  4. After four rounds, take a 15-30 minute break.

Christy's Tips for Applying:

  • Set the timer for 15 minutes to get work done. I like to celebrate each work session with a dance party.
  • Use a visual timer like this one found on Amazon. I own three of these. (affiliate link)

Family Play Idea: Build a puzzle. If you're bored building the same puzzle, turn it into a race. Write the time that it takes to build the puzzle inside the box.

Self-Care Task: Make your food spicy. Enjoy good tasting food, it's okay if your kids don't like the same flavors you do.
